Summary
Within the walls of the St. Pavlov Foundation, there circulates an infamous rumor that the sudden release of Isolde von Dittarsdorf was a massive coverup for a jailbreak carried out at the hands of Manus Vindictae turncoats. Why else would her personal file be counted among some of the Foundation’s most classified documents?
Kakania knows better than to believe in all the gossip, nothing more than the desperate attempts of bored office workers to fill their days with something more interesting than their endless piles of paperwork. She has far more important work to do for the Foundation than entertain such meaningless speculation.
Isolde returns to Manus, and Kakania commits to her role within the Foundation. They try to make it work.

There was some shuffling and then silence again. Sua felt a chill go down her spine, similar to when she would find Ivan watching her in an attempt to scare her. She was being watched again.

It took a few moments before Sua worked up the courage to open her eyes, slowly, reluctantly.
She was met with glowing yellow orbs staring right back at her. The figure in front of her was close. Too close. All she could see was her face, a bright smile plastered over it. She didn’t know who this was. She didn’t know how they even got in. The door was locked, the window closed. This must mean the ritual actually worked.

"Well I'm fine so you can leave." Tuesday doesn't move. She places her hands on Argus' stomach, and she jolts at the cold touch. Her hands slowly travel up towards her breast and Argus knows she should stop her, the woman had definitely broken into her room, but there was something keeping her frozen in place.
Tuesday's fingers stopped just below the swell of her breasts before dragging back down, nails dragging down hard enough to leave red lines in their wake. A groan leaves her lips at the feeling.
"You sure you doin' fine?" Tuesday finally speaks, voice soft and almost teasing. "I would gladly help you with anything."

“I wish they’d let me keep something from set,” Isolde lamented, voice charged with barely contained disappointment. “It doesn’t have to be anything big, I’d be happy if I could keep a decorative leaf, or one of the fruits from the stall in act one, as a memento of today.
“But what you really want is the knife, huh?” Klara chuckled, smile widening once Isolde giggled.
"Maybe." Came Isolde's coy reply.
Perhaps it was stupid, the idea brewing inside Klara’s head, it was definitely insane, so much so that it almost made sense. It was so crazy it might just work, and Klara wasn’t thinking straight; what little sense she had remaining knew that much. All she knew was that somewhere within the Vienna Court Opera house, there was a prop dagger filled with rubies, one that Isolde spoke about with such adoration and with such a brilliant, beautiful smile, it felt unfair for it to belong to anyone but her.

Klara doesn't immediately notice the tears. She only feels them with a salty taste on her parted lips — that's what rudely brings her to her senses.
Klara finally wakes up, and the old admiration is washed away by a wave of anxiety.

Summary
Logically, Kakania knew she shouldn’t confront her so outwardly lest she scare Isolde even more. It was hard enough for her to get here, and Isolde’s next show was a ways away. However, it turned out that not coming up with a plan earlier was going to bite her in the ass faster than she thought because a question escaped before she thought better of it, obviously upset: “Why have you been avoiding me?”
Of course, the actress chose the safe role to play. “Avoiding you? Not at all, Kakania. I’ve just been busy with rehearsals.”
Kakania pursed her lips. “You avoid my gaze when you lie, Isolde.”

It made Kakania shift in her seat, cheeks warming. She found herself subconsciously leaning forward, bewitched by the woman’s voice.
Suddenly, a pair of purple eyes found her. They locked with hers, trapping her under their gaze. A glint appeared in them, something mimicking intrigue. The singer continued her ballad. However, her gaze remained locked with Kakania’s own.

”Did you hear The Timekeeper is back?” One voice whispered. As soon as The Timekeeper was mentioned, Kakania’s heart began to race.
”No, last I heard she was still on a mission.” Someone responded.
”Well, I heard that she brought back more arcanists.”

The voices faded into the background as Kakania began to move. Her pace was swift, almost desperate. Her heels were undoubtedly loud each time they clinked against the floor, but she couldn’t seem to care. She’s sure the librarian must’ve given her a look. The doctor had a one track mind. Isolde.
