Summary
This series is a smutty reimagining of early season 5. The first fic establishes the universe in which all subsequent fics live.
Part 1 - The New Detective (12 chapters) Lucifer returns from Hell to find that Chloe has become more sexually adventurous and a smitten Lucifer has to adjust. Something of a reversal from their season 1 personalities. Other characters are mostly the same, excepting Michael. Characters mentioned in the canon, but never really developed, are given more attention.

Summary
After Lucifer declared it was obvious he and Chloe wanted to be together they should just be together, there was very little in the series about how they were together. This was especially true in the time between them getting together and Dan's killing and the angel war. I was also disappointed that Trixie seemed to disappear from the stories. So this is my imaginings of what was going on that we were not seeing. There is a good bit of sex because of course it is Lucifer and Chloe. There is also a fair amount of father daughter type interaction between Lucifer and Trixie. I do not offer this as a work of great literature, it is just a simple imagining of the way I hoped things were going. I have borrowed some scenes from the show and referred to others.

She must zone out for a few minutes, because when Marcus curses sharply, she jolts. Everything happens too quickly from there, and yet, also like it's happening in super slow motion. The bike wobbles violently and Marcus tries to regain control. Chloe stares over his shoulder as the guardrail seems to rush at them.
When Chloe decides to let Marcus drive her home on his motorcycle, he loses control. Now she's injured and in the hospital, and the Devil is the first person at her side.
Story is complete.
