Wilbur tilted his head, conceding the point as he closed the distance between them, dangerously close to pinning Tommy’s hips with his own. “Never said you were.” His voice was soft, fond, knowing. “But you’re going to sit anyway, because I asked nicely, and because your legs are surely going to give out from all that noble pacing from earlier.”
Tommy’s ears went pink, a telltale sign that made the corners of Wilbur’s mouth twitch upwards. He muttered something that might have been “bossy git,” before bracing his hands on the counter and hopping up anyways, legs dangling.
