With such a fragile soul, one that was already split five times, being hit with a rebounded killing curse had grave consequences. Another piece of the Voldemort’s soul, nothing more than a wee sliver, attached itself onto the babe he was trying to kill. Harry James Potter was now a vessel of two tiny souls, always touching but never touched. So similar but not identical enough to fuse together.
Or, Harry Potter's life if the horcrux was another version of himself, a second identity that shared his body.

Summary
Harry knew weird things always happened to him. He learned this fact during his childhood, and he never doubted it afterwards. He was a magnet for trouble, and life was far easier if he simply accepted that.
And trouble didn't even find him all that often anymore!
He didn't mind Ron roping him into Auror training, neither did he mind Hermione forcing him to retake his N.E.W.T.s. Maybe he could do without the Prophet shadowing his every step, but it was fine. Seriously.
Life was good. Or maybe not good, but decent.
But as always, fate found a way to disturb his peace. A sigh left him when instead of the Department of Magical Law Enforement, a dark corridor greeted his sight.

Summary
Harry Potter was lost. He had served his purpose and disposed of Voldemort. He had died for the cause, without thinking about it. But now that the brunt of the fighting was over, he had to face whatever awaited him in the aftermath. Or at least, he should have faced it, but did not. His cowardice forced him to hide in his godfather's childhood home, in hopes for avoiding both the public and his worried friends. He could not bare to face his guilt, nor could he do anything to rid himself of it. He was a conflicted man who was desperate for anything that would take his mind off of things.
Enter; the Deathly Hallows. Sentient Artefacts of old times that have seemingly chosen him as their master.
Had this distance between the Hallows and himself caused his emotional tumult or had he genuienly messed up all of his friendships by himself? Who knew? But some day, he swore to fix everything. But first he needed time to heal, far away from Britian. Harry never expected to get another shot at true happiness, at a family, when he left to see the world, but here it was.
This time, he must fight for it. Protect it at all cost.!! Currently being rewritten/heavily edited. Not abandoned (19.07.2025)

“You want to ruin him," Sukuna says.
Maybe Sukuna isn’t wrong about that, Fushiguro thinks in a daze. Itadori’s heart is too heavy and too precious. It’s a burden that shouldn’t be given to anyone else. Because even Itadori himself can’t take care of it, can’t hold onto it for the life of him because he’d rather become the vessel to the most wretched of all curses just to help two people he’s only known for a few months—to help Fushiguro, who he’d only met that night.
(I can keep it. Fushiguro’s hands move. I can hold onto it, if you want.)
Maybe Sukuna’s definition of ruin wasn’t all that wrong from what Fushiguro wanted after all. Maybe that did make him just as wretched.
But if Itadori was still willing to stay beside him, despite knowing that—
Then there was no reason for Fushiguro to let him go.
Or—
Some dreams start to keep Fushiguro up at night, and the cure to stopping them might be closer than he thinks.

Summary
The rumble of the earth beneath one’s feet was not something bewildering. It was a simple fact of the world they inhabited, as greater powers aroused from slumber often broke free in the most turbulent of ways. And while the intensity at such a great distance from the epicenter was nothing to scoff at, the direction of its origin had the King of Curses pause. The snapping of the earth which shook everything else asunder when he himself did not even flinch, and more unsettling was how the vibrations dug into his skin and rattled his bones with a rare sense of unease.
Something was amiss.
Sukuna was sure of it.
❤ A chance encounter leads Ryomen Sukuna to believe Itadori Yuji is a kami. Which, technically, the curse isn't wrong. But Yuji doesn't know that, and he's desperate to keep his misunderstood secret safe.
