Summary
They’ve been here countless times: Jiwoong, Taerae, and a job well done. Taerae has guided Jiwoong through buildings crawling with guards, buildings armed with explosives, and he’s led Jiwoong through undercover missions. Their success rate is through the roof.
Taerae watches Jiwoong through the cameras almost every night of his life, and now, uncertainty about the job giving them pause for the first time, he realizes how much he cares for Jiwoong’s safety.
It’s annoying. Jiwoong is annoying. He’s not allowed to die so that Taerae can continue to call him annoying.

Ricky kisses him then, all warmth but no real heat, like finding the perfect distance from a bonfire to sit so that it’s comfortable instead of scorching. Gyuvin kisses back easily, like he’d been expecting it.
“I don’t trust you,” Ricky tells Gyuvin in a whisper, the words pressed to lips that chase after his with no hesitation.
“That’s okay,” Gyuvin murmurs, pressing a kiss to the corner of Ricky’s mouth. “I don’t trust you not to run away. I guess we’ll just have to learn to trust each other.”
or: Ricky gets to know Gyuvin while he finishes writing his album.

It’s too much. Gyuvin wants him to stop talking. This is only their second session and already Ricky has opened him up and found every tiny little bit of darkness he’s been hoping would go away on its own for months, and he feels too exposed.
“I think it’s a bit too soon for you to make that assessment,” Gyuvin says, and they both know he’s not talking about his body.
“I think I would say that regardless,” Ricky responds, with a bit of an edge to it.
