Summary
Mouth For War is a series detailing James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes' life pre-CA:TWS, including his life with HYDRA, his life pre-CA:TFA, and some moments set throughout the duration of CA:TFA.
Within this series, Bucky has Dissociative Identity Disorder, and has had as such since before HYDRA got a hand on him.
Some notes:
- I will be referring to Bucky's alters as parts, as that is the terminology I use for myself
- I plan for this to get very, very dark
- This will not mirror an accurate experience for every person with DID/OSDD - all collectives are different, all collectives experience things differently. There is no right or wrong way to have DID/OSDD.I do not plan on setting his parents in a good light within this series.

Summary
When Master Jaro Tapal finds an orphaned and blind force-sensitive child named Cal Kestis, his first instinct is to take him as his Padawan. Unfortunately for him, the Jedi Council ultimately chooses to refuse his request, forcing him to give the boy away to a monastery on Jedha to be raised by monks.
Meanwhile, on a distant planet, a handful of dark-force wielding witches manage to escape the genocide of their clan. With everything lost and without guidance, the remaining Nightsisters appoint the oldest survivor of their coven as their leader, in hope that they can rebuild their clan.

Summary
Five years after the Purge, fugitive padawan Cal Kestis has been keeping his head down as a scrapper on Bracca, eking out a lonely existence undercover. By a trick of the fates, (or the meddling of the Force) he becomes acquainted with Jagannath, a mysterious Zabrak on the run from the Empire, who may or may not be Darth Maul under another name.
When a workplace accident blows his cover, Cal escapes Bracca with the help of this reluctant ally, discovering the ex-Sith’s true identity in the process. Rescued by a pair of freedom fighters, Cal is quickly roped into an elaborate plan to restore the Jedi Order, dragging an unwilling Maul along for the ride. What follows is a quest of epic proportions, taking the motley, squabbling crew clear across the galaxy as they work to acquire a Jedi holocron containing crucial information, running up against Inquisitors, crime syndicates, reanimated corpses, ornery wildlife, and some very questionable meatloaf along the way.
As the Force sits back with a bowl of popcorn to watch the ensuing madness, it is painfully clear that the course of galactic history will never be the same again.

Summary
Cal has been picking up echoes for as long as he can remember. For years they existed as nothing more than fleeting glimpses into the past. Mostly harmless and easily forgotten. But then war came, and the echoes he found became harder to ignore until it became too much to bear. His mind broke under the strain. Now voices plage him every waking moment, following him into sleep, dredging up memories that aren't his own. Failed by the Order who was supposed to protect him, Cal couldn't trust anyone with his rare ability, not even other Jedi. When his true identity is revealed, Cal is thrust into a mission to restore the Order and fight back against the Empire, but to do so he must repair his fractured connection to the Force and learn to overcome the voices.
