One would never expect to find the God of Love befriending the Dark One, let alone falling in love with him.
You weren't sure what you were getting yourself into when you associated yourself with Rumplestiltskin. Blindly following him around and seeking some sort of friendship, all out of an intense infatuation.
As expected, the love story wound up leaving the heart-mender heartbroken.
