Today's the day. The date is circled, and Tommy is going to finally do what he vowed to do, with nothing and no one else to turn to. He makes sure he looks his best and that his room is all tidy. No more stalling. He's so tired of pretending everything is okay, he can't keep going like this anymore. Feeling like everyone would be better off without him, he sets off determined to let go of it all.
