"What are you doing?" Seokjin asked as he entered the room to find his roommate sitting in the cardboard box his new desk chair came in, a blanket wrapped around him.
"What does it look like I'm doing?" Yoongi mumbled, looking up from his phone for only a brief moment to glare at the cat sitting on the bed next to his box.
"It looks like you've switched places with your cat." Seokjin said as he cocked his head to the side and put a hand on his hip. Yoongi ignored his roommate in favor of playing the new game on his phone, looking quite content in his box.
Seokjin made eye contact with the cat before suddenly cooing at it. "Aawwww you poor baby." He said as he approached the cat and petted it's head. "Is Yoongi being a big meanie and has taken your box away from you?" He talked to the cat who started purring at the attention.
"Oh please." The boy in the box snorted. "She wasn't interested in the box at all. She just wants to sit on my lap." He said, eyes not leaving the device in his hands.
Seokjin smiled and nodded his head in sudden understanding. "Oooh, I see." He said dramatically, looking to the cat for a moment. "You're upset that the box has taken away all of Yoongis attention and you can't sleep on him!" He baby talked to the cat and nodded pretending to wipe a tear from his eye. "I agree kitty, let's leave Yoongi in his box and go cuddle on my bed." Seokjin said before promptly picking up the happy cat and walking towards the bedroom door.
"So you're ditching me?" Yoongi asked from his comfortable spot in his box.
"Yeah?" Seokjin answered as he held the still purring cat. "You look quite content there." He looked to the cat who seemed to almost nod in agreement.
"Well, uh, as much as I'm really comfy here, could you help me get out first?" Yoongi asked as he locked his phone and looked up at Seokjin. "I kinda really need to pee and I don't think I can get out by myself."
Seokjin seemed to ponder for a long moment before turning to the cat and nodding his head. "I agree kitty, let's leave him." He said with a smile before casually walking out of the door, happy cat on his shoulder.
"Hey!" Yoongi called, moving to get out of the box but instead promptly tipping it over and ending up on his side. "Damn you..." He mumbled. "Never telepathically communicate with my cat again!" He called out receiving only a faint laugh in return.
