Shouta, I love you
and I would be so happy
if you would date me.
Shouta stares at the piece of paper in his hands, at the haiku written in Yamada Hizashi’s best handwriting, and the important message therein; the fact that Hizashi is currently obsessed with haiku poems (and has been since he discovered he’s good at creative writing in Japanese class) means this bizarre message makes sense – but he can’t hide the roll of his eyes as he says, “Of course I will.”
And a rather red Hizashi grins, bounces up and down on the balls of his feet and says, “That’s awesome, thank you so much – this is gonna be great!”
