Ever since they met, Izuku and Tsuyu have been almost inseparable, studying together and spending break time together and playing video games together after school; to be honest, Izuku really misses Tsuyu even when they’re apart for only the shortest of times. So when Tsuyu goes on a trip or Izuku has to travel to meet up with Gran Torino, or when they are split up for whatever reason, Izuku struggles without Tsuyu, used to her presence (to the point he’s actually more prone to meltdowns when he and Tsuyu are apart).
And when they meet up again after however much time has passed, Izuku finds himself near tears with happiness and hugs her tightly, whilst Tsuyu mumbles, “Missed you too, ribbit.”
