If you asked people to describe Ben Mitchell, most responses would be along the lines of ‘cocky’, ‘arrogant’, ‘shitbag’, ‘waste of space’, ‘pathetic’.
But none of them knew the real Ben.
The Ben that makes Callum breakfast in bed every weekend.
The Ben that brings Callum lunch to work everyday.
The Ben that insists on date night once a week.
The Ben that plays with the soft hair on Callum’s nape as they sit and watch Callum’s favourite movie. Again.
The Ben that pulls Callum in close at night, arms wrapped around him, never letting go.
The Ben that has a heart emoji next to Callum’s name in his phone book.
The Ben who texts “good morning ” and “good night” every day because Callum is his first thought in the morning and his last at night. Even though he is laying next to him.
The Ben who changes his phone wallpaper regularly to new pictures of Callum and Lexi.
And the Ben that said ‘I love you’ first and tells Callum he loves him, every morning, noon, night and in between.
Nobody saw that Ben.
The real Ben.
His Ben.
