The world is a cruel and unforgiving place. Fathers abuse sons, death chases young girls, and loneliness follows young children. It’s inescapable and ever-present, but in the cracks between all the pain, bonds can form. Children can forge their own family, solve their own problems, save themselves and each other. That’s what matters.
That kind of unconditional love is powerful and difficult to find but in the dark and wooded depths of L’manberg’s forest, six children banded together and built a home, a safe haven, a family.
