unless they were going out on day trips on weekends, yoongi tried to make sure jeongguk still took his regular nap on weekends to maintain routine. seokjin and him also used that time to do any house chores that they didn't want jeongguk to be involved in, such as cleaning the bathroom, or do activities that jeongguk couldn't participate in.
seokjin had wanted to watch a war-themed movie for a while but they didn't want jeongguk to watch it, so they had to sneak around and watch it while jeongguk napped.
they were watching the last war scene when the bedroom door creaked open and seokjin nearly threw himself at the coffee table to grab the remote control and pause the movie then turn the tv off.
jeongguk looked at seokjin strangely but quietly walked over towards yoongi for his post-nap cuddles. he climbed up onto yoongi's lap with a little help, and sighed in satisfaction as he settled down.
"hi cute baby," yoongi greeted as he tickled under jeongguk's chin, smiling as jeongguk squirmed happily. "did you have a good nap?"
jeongguk reached up and patted under yoongi's chin. "hi pity dada," he said with a wide grin, then nodded and snuggled close.
yoongi stared blankly at jeongguk while seokjin burst out laughing.
"oh no, what have i taught our baby?"
yoongi spent the rest of the day telling jeongguk he was only allowed to do that with seokjin and himself, and maybe the other boys, but no one else.
seokjin, meanwhile, was teaching jeongguk how to say 'handsome papa'.
