Summary
Some 200 years after the fall of the dread king Galbatorix, two young dragon riders find themselves under the instruction of Eragon and his dragon Saphira, founders of the new dragon riders on their sanctuary island Edur. “You looked like a work of art that night.” George’s voice startled Dream, the elf had surprised him with his words as he stared intently at the image on the wall, lost in a memory. Dream had little time to process what his friend had said, turning to look at him. The words froze in his mouth as he saw George slip on his shirt, a hint of the skin on his back visible for just a moment.
“Maybe,” Dream finally choked out, “But it was up to you to capture it” he finished. “Consider yourself lucky” George smirked. “I shouldn’t feed your massive ego like that” he continued.
