Summary
This sequel completely ignores anything after Inheritance, so names, places, characters will likely be different. I have not read either of the two new books and prefer to pretend like they don't exist. This will be slower to update.
Two decades is a long time to be gone from home. Things change, for better or for worse. Eragon has had twenty years to build/change relationships with his friends/allies/family. Letters/mirrors can't tell us everything about the people we love. What happens when he goes back home? Who will lift him up and who will bring him down?
If you want cold or spiteful Eragon, this is not a story for you.
If you think a man can have a past, but a woman can't, this may not be a story for you.
If you believe that someone can love more than one person in their lifetime, this may be a story for you.
If you believe that your greatest love doesn't have to be your first love, this may be a story for you.
If you believe people can change and forgive, this may be a story for you.
If you know that there is more than one way to have a healthy relationship, this may be a story for you.

It has been 20 years since the Mad King, Galbatorix, had been slain. Alagaesia was still healing, but it was definitely better than what it had been. This year marked the 10th year since the new dragons had started hatching after the defeat of Bachel and her cultists. This would also mark the fifth time that the Annual Games would be held at Mount Arngor.
New dragons and riders grace the land. What will Eragon do when two show up with connections to his past? Plus the games are coming up this year. Oh, this is going to be grate.

Summary
While Murtagh worked at his family's coffee shop, he and Eragon, a young college student that just moved nearby, met and quickly become friends. They both had secrets, but they knew not to cross any lines.
Murtagh appreciated having a break during work, to hear gossip about people he didn't know, and Eragon missed having someone to talk to everyday, since moving from his hometown.
However, they would soon realize that they were trapped in opposites sides of a generational war. Murtagh's was from the biggest mafia family in town, soon to be their heir, and Eragon had come to finish his father's investigation, the search that lead to his death.

Summary

I have recently started Fireborne after finishing the Inheritance Cycle and suddenly I got this crazy idea going that the Aurelian Cycle characters are magically transported into Alagaësia and become Eragon’s new Dragon Riders, and yes I have only read up to chapter 6/7/8 (I have no idea at this point) of Fireborne but I do not care because it’s such an epic story. :) PS: Main POVs are Lee, Annie, and Eragon.
