Summary
Being a rider is not exactly how Galbatorix and Morzan had imagined it to be. One chafes with the limits, the other with the rules.
It was fate that they should meet eventually, although it was certainly supposed to happen under much darker circumstances. This time, they can help each other before it's too late.Friends are made (reluctantly), futures brighten, a dragon survives and history changes. At least in part. There is still a witch in the mountains.

Summary
What if Galbatorix wasn't evil, but just misguided? What if the original Riders weren't as pure as we were led to believe?
