Summary
Kira decided to push his luck, comforted by the gradual ebb of the stranger's aggression. He leaned forward in his seat to regard the other, his eyes softening into something almost amicable. "I introduced myself. People ordinarily return the favor."
The stranger paused, and for a fleeting moment, Yoshikage was certain that he was immobile. "Mm." Humming a thoughtful sound, he began to pour a second drink for himself. He slid an empty glass along the table, toward his company. "...Doppio."
Any average individual would've taken the lie with a grain of salt and moved on believing it, naive to the trickery they'd been subjected to. Yoshikage Kira had lied all his life. He was not about to fall for a poor one, and certainly not one told by an individual so beguiling. Leaning forward even further, he plucked the bottle from his company's hand and poured himself a drink, swirling the contents around with a brief scoff. "Liar."
Or, Yoshikage Kira narrowly avoids capture by fleeing to Italy.
