    When Buffy is told that her strength in leadership is no longer needed, and she is tossed away by those she's given her life for, she finds sanctuary in the abandoned home of a stranger. No longer the confident warrior, she begins to slip into despair until Spike arrives to pull her back from the edge and lift her up. Together they find the Slayer’s Scythe and are given direction by one who created it.

    Buffy and Spike alone make plans to close the Hellmouth and stop The First Evil from destroying the world. In doing so, they find something they only hoped could exist - a love so true it lasts forever.
