New world, new story (aka i can't think up titles)

Summary:

[new summary]
After Martin stabs Jon they suddenly find themselves uninjured in a new dimension.

Jon becomes a teacher at u.a. au! (god that sucks to look at)

(first three chapters are basically a slightly different fic. Chapter four onwards is effectively a rewrite except I didn't get very far in the first three chapters so not really)

Chapter 1: the start i guess

Chapter Text

  • So after Martin stabs Jon they get dropped on a rooftop in the bnha world
  • Midoriya is about to jump off, having his hopes crushed and no one to care if he dies.
    • Inko still pays bills and leaves money for food, but thats it
  • Everyone is very confused as to what Jon and Martin are doing there.
  • I don’t care if the fears escaped or not, just know that Jon still has his powers because I said so.
  • So after they stop crying Jon quickly gives Martin the sparknotes of the world their on.
  • Jon just tells Midoriya that their from another dimension and that they can explain more later, also would it be ok for them to stay with him, seeing as they don’t exist in this world.
  • Midoriya doesn’t have any reason to say no, and says that his moms never home so they don’t need to worry about that.
  • Jon and Martin, neither of which had amazing childhoods, share a look at that
  • Overnight Jon makes use of the fact that he technically doesn’t really need sleep and makes a powerpoint about the fears and the world they came from
    • Said powerpoint will be reappearing
  • Midoriya is fascinated to hear that everyone on their world was quirkless
  • In turn, he teaches them what he knows about their world, which helps because Jon doesn’t know where to find statements here and doesn’t want to exhaust his powers
    • I’m a nice author and say that he’s still able to track down people who’ve experienced stuff thats supernatural, not just the product of a quirk
    • But jons now learned how to actually ask someone if they WANT to give a statement, as opposed to just taking it
    • (a/n its my opinion that he shouldn’t be blamed for forcing people to give statements. It was objectively wrong, yes, but it wsn’t his fault. He was hungry and didn’t understand his powers yet.)
  • Midoriya ends up admitting that he wanted to be a hero, but that he can’t do it, and is promptly shocked by Jon and Martin saying that he can totally become a hero
