Den City makes a nice change from New Domino City.
The advanced technology here may help to make the momentum reactor more stable.
But now Yusei is hungry and needs lunch.
His colleagues went to a fancy restaurant but Yusei will never feel at place there.
So he figured he would find the main square and maybe branch out to the side streets to find some decent, not overpriced food.
That was until he saw a hotdog stand on the square itself with prices that aren't too bad.
He ordered a hotdog from the purple haired guy behind the counter, only to notice that all the places on the terrace were occupied.
All but one.
The table where a pink and blue haired teenager was typing on his laptop with a neglected hot dog next to him.
"Do you mind if I sit here?" Yusei asks the highschooler wearing his uniform.
Before answering the teen looks up and scans all the tables, probably to see if he could politely decline.
Only to discover all the other seats are occupied.
The child then just nods in his general direction and keeps typing.
Yusei sits down and starts eating the hot dog.
His eyes fall on the computer the teenager is using.
He cannot see the screen because the kid uses a screen protector.
But that is not the thing that stands out the most.
It is not a commercially available computer.
To an untrained eye it looks like one, but is clearly been modified and adapted to fit what the teen wants and needs.
"Nice computer" Yusei can't help but say.
The high schooler looks up for a second and mumbles something akin to a yes.
Then Yusei notices the guy in the van is watching them.
The teen starts taking bites of his cold hot dog.
As if it just now occurred he is hungry now the hot dog guy is watching them and no longer busy with costumers.
Yusei eats the rest of his hotdog in silence and leaves, but not before thanking the pink and blue haired child for letting him sit there and the purple haired man for the food.
