Chapter Text
Space is quite beautiful, is it not? The ever expanding vacuum stretches out into the vast emptiness of The Orbosphere, filled with Domes and Satellites of different sizes. Of course, who's to say it doesn't have flaws?
A large starship was travelling through the vacuum with no destination. It is simply navigating without reason
The Cybertron Starship was a vessel with very little occupants, containing those of from Transformers: Prime, and others.
One of the occupants, drowsy from all the hefty work they did the day before, woke up. They groaned and sat up from their bed, located at the middle portion of the starship. They grazed around the room before reaching a mirror on wall. They looked at their faceless self with their red LED eyes.
This is another day for Jeremy Douglass, or as more commonly known, Withered Bonnie. He scanned himself, and fixed up his new metallic left arm that Mini Shock, a defective clone of Shockwave's, had given him to replace his missing one. He was quite thankful on that day he had met the siblings, Mini Shock and Playtime, and didn't know what he would have done if it weren't from them saving him after stepping through that portal.
After moments of contemplating, he had left his room and made his way down the bright hallways of the starship, thinking of what he should do next for his campaign to save all slaves from their horrible Creators.
Lost in thought, he accidentally bumped into someone on their way to the lounge. Surprised, he helped the domad up. It was Mini Shock.
Mini Shock could be described as a literal miniature version of the Transformers Shockwave. And he always wears that blanket around him like a cape every day, quite childish but pure.
"Oh, Mini Shock, I'm sorry! I should've-" Bonnie started, but Mini Shock began to wave it off.
"No, no, no, don't apologize, it's okay. I was just in a rush that I didn't see where I was going." The child sighed.
"In a rush?" Bonnie asked, confused as he tilted his faceless head to the side a bit.
Mini Shock looked up at him, he was pretty short, only half the size of the animatronic.
"Yes, Uncle Starscream apparently "blew" up the kitchen trying to make lasagna for all of us." He air quoted the word 'blew'
"Was Afton involved?" Bonnie asked again, but the robot simply shook his head.
"Uncle Springtrap is busy chasing my sis around the starship, trying to make her shower." He replied casually.
"Huh," Withered Bonnie pondered for a bit before asking a question, "What time is it?"
Mini Shock chuckled a bit, "We should really install a clock in your room."
Jeremy just blinked in response before the lil' bot continued, "It's 9 AM on the dot."
"Lasagna for breakfast?" Bonnie asked, confused as he tilted his head to the side a bit. Mini Shock simply shrugged, "Apparently so."
Screaming can then be heard down the hall the two were in. They both looked at the direction from where the scream was coming from and saw Playtime, one of the former students back in Baldi's School, running down the hall with a olive-colored withered bunny animatronic chasing after her, William Afton, also known as Springtrap.
"Too slow, Uncle Springtrap~!" Playtime said mockingly as she passed the two.
Springtrap growled and stopped in front of the two bots to catch a breath, "Damn, that kid's fast." He said, panting.
"Just leave her be. Uncle Soundwave'll get her." Mini Shock said in response, annoyed at his sister's antics.
"Eugh, if he can't catch her, no one can." Springtrap grunted, still tired from all that running.
Mini Shock's optic glowed brighter as he said that,
"I'll find a way, don't worry." He replied as he walked away in the direction Playtime ran.
"Wait, but what about-" Bonnie started, but Mini Shock cut him off, "Starscream can take care of himself. He has pride by his side." His voice echoed as he went further down the hallways before disappearing as he turned a corner.
The two animatronic rabbits were now left in the bright halls together.
Jeremy sighed a walked past Afton, making his way to the lounge.
"H-Hold on, Jeremy-" Afton started, but Bonnie cut him off immediately still walking away.
"Not now, Afton." Jeremy disappeared as he entered the lounge located at the end of the hall.
Springtrap sighed as he placed a hand on his head. He literally murdered him back on Earth. What the fuck was he supposed to do to get him to forgive him?
. . .
"Yo." A yellow mech entered the kitchen, casually before noticing the smoke everywhere.
"Err- uh, Bumblebee-! What a surprise!" Starscream greeting nervously as he tried his 'best' to cook the lasagna with his large talons.
"What the heck, Starscream!?" He yelled as he rushed over to the fire-lit stove with a fire extinguisher, putting it out.
"What were you thinking!? You could've set the whole starship on fire!" Bumblebee yelled at the seeker.
Starscream merely rolled his optics, "Well, excuse me for trying to cook up something good for the children."
"Do you even know how to cook!?" Starscream stared blankly at the mech, "No." This caused Bumblebee to facepalm and groan simultaneously.
"No one else was going to cook!" The seeker shouted in defense,
"You could've at least asked someone to help!" Bumblebee shouted back,
"Everyone was busy!"
"I wasn't! You could've asked me!"
Starscream rolled his optics once more, "I didn't even know where you were."
The two continued to bicker before another mech entered the room, reaching for the fridge and pouring himself a bowl of cereal.
"Excuse us, Soundwave, but we're in the middle of something here." Starscream told the silent mech as he nodded in response, leaving the room with the bowl.
. . .
Playtime closed the door shut and sighed in relief, sliding down to the ground like slime.
"Daughter, why are you here?" A familiar, deep voice sounded from the other side of the room.
'Fuck.' Playtime thought. She had entered dad's lab without even knowing.
"I'm, uh, erm, hiding...?" She answered nervously as she looked up at the tall, purple mech standing on the otherside of the room. The gaze from his large, red optic made her feel weak inside and prevented her from moving suddenly.
Shockwave was silent for a moment before turning back to the large monitor behind him, "Do not break anything." He stated.
"Got it." She replied as she skipped over to the console Shockwave was working on, gaining back the high energy earlier from when she was being chased.
"Sooooooo, dad, what'cha workin' on?" Playtime asked, as she hopped up onto the large panel of the console, with confidence.
"It is nothing of importance to you, child." Shockwave responded in his usual, monotone voice.
"Man, you're as boring as Shockers." She grunted as she rolled her eyes.
There was a sudden knock on the lab door.
"Shit." Playtime said suddenly, "Language." Shockwave immediately responded as he went over to the door to open.
Playtime looked around frantically before hiding in one of the large cabinets in the lab.
"Father." A familiar voice echoed into the lab, "What is it that you need?" Shockwave asked, with a hint of harshness in his tone.
"I, erm, am looking for my sister... She hasn't taken a shower in days and I do not want her stench to linger around the ship..." Mini Shock looked down at the ground as he said that.
Shockwave was silent for a moment before stepping to the side to let his son in.
"She is hiding in the cabinet labeled 'B12'" He stated before hearing a groan coming from said cabinet.
The cabinet door slid open and out came Playtime, obviously irritated, "No fair!"
Mini Shock stomped over to his sister and grabbed her arm before dragging her out of the lab, closing the door as Playtime whined all the way.
Shockwave simply went back to what he was doing.
. . .
Springtrap stepped into the lounge room and looked around. Withered Bonnie was sitting on a couch on the eastern side of said room, reading a book. Soundwave was also there sitting on a longer couch in the middle of the room, watching some sort of sci-fi movie on the television.
The bunny sighed and staggered over to the couch Soundwave was on, sitting on the other end, far from him. He crossed his legs and arms, and stared blankly at the wall, his mind overflowing with thoughts.
"-Please, just forgive me...!" A character in the movie Soundwave was watching shouted. Springtrap looked over to the TV.
"You.. You killed my son! I will never forgive you-!" Another character shouted.
Springtrap scoffed and looked back at the wall, thinking about how corny the movie is. He then started to ponder about what the characters in the movie said.
He groaned. This was annoying for him, always thinking about random shit.
"..." Springtrap narrowed his eyes and looked away from the wall for a second. He killed Jeremy back on Earth, but now he wants forgiveness from the very person he just murdered. He was the very person to strip him of his life and future.
Sure, he may seem happy here with the kids and the weird robots, but that doesn't excuse the fact that he killed him and four others kids before stuffing them into suits.
Afton then turned a bit to look at Bonnie, who was still sitting on the couch reading his book.
He could've lived a peaceful, healthy life here in the Orbosphere without having to think about the pain the springlock suit caused, without having to think about the animatronics haunting and killing him, without having to think about his own family. Then he came along.
He felt guilty, he needed to apologize. But who the hell simply apologizes for murder and gets away with it scot-free?
His thoughts were then cut-off by two kids entering the room, one was annoyed, and the other prideful of his accomplishment.
"You're annoying." Playtime stomped her feet in anger, her hair quite wet from taking a shower.
"I had to do it, you must understand." Mini Shock tried reasoning with her.
The two started bickering, which caused Springtrap to roll his eyes and turn away from the situation.
. . .
Later that day, everyone had already eaten their breakfast to replenish their energy and magic to continue to scavenge for broken rifts in the Orbosphere. Springtrap was reluctant at first to sit at the same table with Bonnie, but Playtime said she would hide his toolbox so he had to give in.
Bumblebee was walking along the upper deck of the starship, holding a highly advanced keycard. He turned a few corner before reaching a highly secured door with a keypad on the right of it.
The mech typed in the passcode and swiped his keycard on the lock before the door opened. He stepped into the control room and went over to the consoles on the very front of the room and rerouted the starship to navigate over to the Trash Dome, a dome with no creator mostly used a dumping site for garbage.
A broken rift was detected there this morning whilst Soundwave was checking the panels, so they had to fix it immediately or the fabric of time and space between The Universe and Tbe Orbosphere would collapse.
[ Approximate Navigation Time: 12 Earth Days ]
Bumblebee huffed with satisfaction, 12 days is just enough for them to make it in time to fix the rift.
["How much time would it take for us to get there?"] Various recordings of voices were played right behind the mech. Bumblebee already knew who it was just by listening, so he just continued on what he was doing on the consoles.
"Approximately 12 Earth Days, it shouldn't be long." He responded, still keeping his optic on the panels. Soundwave nodded and helped him out configurating the navigations and the routing.
. . .
Mini Shock was in his mini lab in the main command center located at the upper deck. He was preparing for what was to come in a few hours. Playtime was there too, helping him with gathering what they both needed for the mission.
They had stopped arguing a while ago and held a truce in the meantime. They were chatting about which things to bring on their adventure and which one they shouldn't.
Springtrap stepped into the command center and looked around before spotting the two siblings in the corner of the room where their mini lab is.
"Hey, kiddos, have you, uh," Springtrap paused for a moment as the two turned to him, confused, "seen Jeremy by any chance...?" He reluctantly asked.
"Oh, Bonnie?" Playtime responded as Afton nodded, "He took the warp pad to go buy some things at the All-Star mall for our mission." Mini Shock answered while Springtrap felt a tight knot in his chest, "Oh."
He was about to turn to leave before Playtime shouted at him, "Hey, Uncle Springtrap! Why do you look sad?" She asked, noticing Springtrap's expression.
"Oh, uh—" Springtrap didn't know what to say. He couldn't just say he needed Jeremy's forgiveness. They both think they get along well. He felt a bit obsessive trying to get his forgiveness over and over again each day, but that's what he really needed to make this feeling stop. This guilt.
"Playtime, don't ask such personal questions." Mini Shock spoke softly with anger in his tone as he glared at the girl.
"But he looks sad! I can't just let him be like that forever!" Playtime spoke back, trying her best not to let Afton hear what she's saying. Springtrap sighed.
"Look, kids, I know what you're trying to do, and it's fine. I'm not sad, a'ight? I'm just feeling a bit under the weather, that's all." He gave them a reassuring smile as to not let them both argue even more. It bother him.
Playtime frowned, "If you say so.."
The two siblings continued with what they were doing as Springtrap left the room with many thoughts in his on what to do.
He can't live like this forever. It's just as haunting as how it was for him back on Earth.
