Shikako smiled grimly as she and her team approach the slowly recovering Alliance. Team 7 manage to defeat Kaguya-The Mother of the freakin’ SAGE OF SIX PATHS- with a specific seal, that required Shikako’s Absolute Attention. Which, given that this was the last battle against the threat of the entire world, you can see why she was stressed out.
The rest of the alliance were satisfied, after they were filled in as to why they’re inside a tree of all things-
You can see why they’re acting reckless.
“-ko!”
She stood by as Team 7 launched an explanation to their face- well, Naruto giving the explanation, the other two were just with her, content with the gob smacked face the rest gave Naruto during his, quote and quote, Epic Fight Against a Rabbit Tailed Beast. She clutched her side with a trembling hand, hidden by her ripped but still intact black trench coat.
“-kako!”
Shikako was just glad that everyone she knew was still alive, even if they were in a desolated battlefield and sharing their different perspective in distant fronts. This event will definitely leave a scar on them, a scar that will hopefully not appear in the future generations, if the idea of the alliance holding for a few months led to our win, then there was nothing to worry about.
“-ko! Shikako!”
Said girl back to the concerned faces of her teammates, looking very worried she didn’t notice their calls. She grinned wryly, hoping it’s convincing enough to prove that she’s fine. By looks of it, it didn’t work.
“Shikako-chan, are you ok? No Injuries at all?” Sakura asked quietly unlike her earlier behavior.
No
“Yes, Sakura, I’m fine. No Injuries whatsoever.”
Because it’s so much worse.
She’s not fine at all.
