Summary
Fifteen year old Valerie Mccraith has never believed that there is anything special or interesting about her, well if you don't count the fact that her dad went missing when she was two and her mother left her to be raised by her grandmother. Though if you ask anyone who truly knows her, she’s a special girl with a special gift when it comes to dealing with horses. Or at least she was....until the accident. It's been a year since the accident, she feels numb, empty, hollow, and won't go anywhere near horses anymore.
That all changes when she's forced to pack up her belongings and move to Jorvik to live with her dad's family who are practically strangers to her. Under the guidance of mystical druids, they discover they each have a special bond to their horses that gives them magical powers. While trying to balance school, family, and friendships they have to figure out what it means to be a Soul Rider. They are attacked by the Dark Riders and the mysterious Mr. Sands discover that their horses are in danger. Instead of relying on their combined strength, they decide to split up on their quest to find answers and learn to fight back against their enemies. However, will it be too late before they realize their mistake?
