It was rarely just a dream. But how could one tell?
As the Soul Riders ride together on a week-long trudge back to Valedale through the Northern Mountain Range after a mission, Linda's mind feels like, for the first time in a long time, it is being invaded. Visions so strong and so hideously graphic that she feels herself crawling back toward that childhood terror she felt when she first established her connection with the moon. Little does she know that this time, there is a presence behind them, toying and rewiring her subconscious, pulling the strings of her dreams and forcing her to live through a series of the worst nights she has ever had.

This short story explores the dark side of the Moon Circle, and the rarely spoken about trauma that it is sure to have put its Guardians through, generation after generation. Examining Linda especially, she must learn that she really cannot deal with these things on her own.
The original character mentioned is my inserted fifth Soul Rider, but they aren't the main focus in this short story. This is actually the first time I've ever published any work with him in, so, welcome to the world, Azariah!

Summary
16-year-old Luna Kittenbear arrives on the island of Jorvik, originally from The Netherlands and with Spanish heritage; she will have to adjust to her new lifestyle on Jorvik after being sent there by her parents. While at first sight Luna isn't totally believing this so called 'Myth' of Jorvik, but when she is revealed to be the Fifth Soul Rider, things will never be the same again. At least not for her.
But yet, isn't this power, that she was gifted with all about control, when you really think about it?
At least for Luna, it is.

Fifteen year old Valerie Mccraith has never believed that there is anything special or interesting about her, well if you don't count the fact that her dad went missing when she was two and her mother left her to be raised by her grandmother. Though if you ask anyone who truly knows her, she’s a special girl with a special gift when it comes to dealing with horses. Or at least she was....until the accident. It's been a year since the accident, she feels numb, empty, hollow, and won't go anywhere near horses anymore.
That all changes when she's forced to pack up her belongings and move to Jorvik to live with her dad's family who are practically strangers to her. Under the guidance of mystical druids, they discover they each have a special bond to their horses that gives them magical powers. While trying to balance school, family, and friendships they have to figure out what it means to be a Soul Rider. They are attacked by the Dark Riders and the mysterious Mr. Sands discover that their horses are in danger. Instead of relying on their combined strength, they decide to split up on their quest to find answers and learn to fight back against their enemies. However, will it be too late before they realize their mistake?

This is Bounty Crew! I am fairly new to AO3 and not a expert at all. However I started writing this series a while ago and decided to finally post it to somewhere. I've been to AO3 for a minute and decided that this was a good place to post my story. This is the main story of Bounty Crew and there will be a bunch of smaller stories that I'll add later. I am currently working on a prequel(s) and another project. The story follows a group of Bounty Hunters that are making their way around their solar system trying to get ride of a corrupt government and Emperor. This is the main story and while there will be Prequels and Sequels and other projects, this is the core story.
