“You look like trouble,” George says, and he doesn’t miss the way green eyes flash at the sentiment. “Is that motorcycle yours?”
The boy laughs, running a glove-clad hand through his mess of hair. And George tries to keep up his smug look, silently kicking himself for how pathetically not used to this he is. He’s been in a relationship for three years, he’s a little out of practice.
“Not exactly,” the stranger answers with a grin. “Is that car yours?”
Maybe George is tired of being predictable. Tired enough to steal a car and try to make something new of himself, tired enough to get tangled up in someone else's mess because he thinks their eyes hold the world he wants.
