Summary
The world has finally woken up from the nightmare of Superman's regime. The Man of Steel has been defeated, but the cost was too high. Especially for one Bruce Wayne, who is a broken man surrounded by the loss of his family, faith in his fellow heroes and even his own body. He isn't quite as alone as he'd like to think though, as one Zatanna Zatara refuses to give up on him, or see him as anything less than human. All she wants to do is get him to smile and maybe relax, take a deep breath and try to move on. That seems impossible until opportunity comes knocking. A chance for a vacation, to get away from everything and try to find peace somewhere else. Unfortunately for Zee, Bruce and those who tag along, the ghosts of Wayne Manor are nothing in comparison to the malevolent evil waiting for them across the pond, and they will have to come to terms with the much more active spirits that plague the Wayne family's past.
Sometimes, the screams one hears in the night cannot just be chalked up to the wind rustling through the trees.
