“I hope everyone’s having a good day today! We’re going to be battling the Spiral Abyss with just Zhongli to test out his build and weapon. We’re going to have a lot of fun!”
Aiden smiled as multiple people began conversing in the chat of his stream. He didn’t exactly know why he decided to go through with this idea of being a streamer, but he was highly popular, so he wasn’t going to complain. His chat was always fun to talk to.
A donation came through.
“Hey, Aiden! Hope you’re doing good! Sometimes I hear stuff going on outside of your door, are there any people living with you?”
He was in the middle of setting up his Spiral Abyss that he offhandedly said, “I have a son, that’s probably what you heard. He also has a..friend who lives here - oh, I forgot to see if Zhongli’s artifacts are prepared..”
“A son?!” The chat burst into activity. “He has a son?”
Suddenly, people were spamming a whole bunch of words. His moderators tried to handle the situation as he was dealing with his game. However, the poor staff couldn’t handle the influx of the spamming of ‘DILF!’ and ‘He actually has a son!?’.
When Aiden looked at his chat at last, he was confused by what they were saying. He asked, “what’s a DILF? I’d like it if someone explained that to me.”
“Scatter!” said the chat and people began ‘scattering’, caught by the streamer. One of his moderators had to try and deter him from searching it up while the others scrambled to get everything under control. Too late, he was already searching.
He found out what it meant.
Blink. Blink.
His gaze was set back on how fast the chat was going. He couldn’t help but laugh at the absurdity of the situation before he said, “okay, very funny, you guys. Let’s calm down. Yes, I have a son, yes, I’m a father. Can we leave it at that?”
With that, his chat eventually calmed down enough that they all weren’t ready to book it anytime the situation was brought up. Thank god for his staff, they were on top of everything. Nobody was banned or muted, but the situation was spiralling very fast and they were close to doing so.
The chat was always fun like that!
The stream continued as if it didn’t happen.
