Smoked maple syrup, whole milk, freshly grinded beans and a dash of cocoa powder. Sweet and rich, not too hot, was how Vlad liked his coffee to start the day.
A fond smile spread all over Danny's face as he scooped the jar of beans from the cupboard. When suddenly, Vlad showed up violently in the kitchen. Hair messy, he was struggling with his belt while groaning against his phone.
Danny sighed before reluctantly putting back the jar to pick up another one.
Pre-grounded beans. Burning hot, bitter and disgusting, was how Vlad swallowed his coffee to start bad days.
