Ranboo laid feeling partially dead on the couch. It was a bad day, a bad anxiety day, a bad dysmorphia day, just a very bad day. And he was alone for it. So very alone. Tubbo had left early this morning to go film with Jack and Tommy. Ranboo was supposed to stream, but he just couldn’t get himself off of the couch.
He couldn’t even grab his phone.
The world spun when he opened his eyes, his stomach twisted in knots, and he felt he was on the verge of puking. He forced himself up. He needed to do something, even if the spinning world made him want to pass out with the chance of never waking up again.
Ranboo grabbed his phone and stumbled to the bathroom. He fell to his knees, which made him wince when he landed and emptied his stomach into the toilet. He hadn’t eaten since last night, so most of what came up was bile. He coughed, spitting the taste into the toilet and flushing it, forcing himself back to his feet.
He brushed his teeth, gagging at the minty flavor in his tongue, but it was better than the bitter acid flavor. He coughed again, walking to the shower and turning it on. His skin felt sticky and sweaty. He turned the water cooler than what he usually would’ve had on. Then he stripped and slipped into it.
In the shower, he sat down and pulled his knees up to his chest to try and stop the world from spinning, feeling the cool water hit his hot skin and cool him off. It felt nice, Ranboo could admit that. As his hair drenched and his skin flexed from the water, his head slowly started to clear up a bit.
After a while, Ranboo finally slipped out of the shower. Realizing he forgot clothes, he sighed, before grabbing a towel and wrapping it around himself so he could get some clothes.
Once he returned back into the bathroom. He changed, slipping on his largest hoodie, underwear, and sweatpants. He put his mask on as well, just so when he looked in the mirror he didn’t want to punch it as badly.
He dried and brushed his hair out, before slipping the hood over his head and glancing at his PC. He huffed, grabbing his phone and opening it. Tweeting out that he couldn’t do the stream today because he felt too sick to do so, before sitting back down on the couch and curling up.
His phone buzzed, and he glanced at it, noticing a notification from discord, he opened it.
-Toms-

Ranboo groaned a bit, he should eat. But… he kinda didn’t want to. He didn’t have the energy. And he didn’t want to puke again. He noticed his breathing was shallow, probably because of the mask, but he slipped asleep before he could think of doing anything about it.

When Ranboo woke up again, Wilbur was sitting on the ottoman in front of him, hand on his forehead, looking like a worried mother.
“Wil?” Ranboo groaned, reaching his hand up when Wilbur moved to remove the mask. Not that Wilbur hasn’t seen his face before, Ranboo didn’t care about that anymore.
“You’re gaining a fever and you’re breathing too shallow, let’s take this off so you can breathe better,” Wilbur said gently, and Ranboo dropped his hand so Wilbur could remove it.
Tommy came back with water, which Wilbur accepted and helped Ranboo drink. It was cold, very cold, and felt heavenly against the back of Ranboo’s throat. He finished about half of the cup before his stomach felt too full to accept any more.
Wilbur set the cup aside, looking back at Tommy. “Do you want to go back to recording or stay here? I’m staying so I can take care of him,” Wilbur said.
“I don’t need it-“ Ranboo mumbled but Wilbur gave him a look that shut him up immediately.
“I-“ Tommy started, but his phone started ringing. “It’s Toby, hold on,” he mumbled, answering it and putting it on speaker. “Hey Toby, you're on speaker,” He said.
“Hey is everything okay?” Tubbo asked, and Ranboo looked up to the phone.
“Ranboo is really sick, Toby. I don’t think I’ll be coming back to finish the video. I don’t know about Tommy,” Wilbur said.
“I’m gonna stay with Wilbur. Seriously, Toby, he was passed out when he got here,” Tommy said.
“Alright, I’m asking Jack to drive me back then. We’ll finish the recording tomorrow,” Tubbo said, and Ranboo shook his head.
“Ranboo’s shaking his head,” Wilbur called.
“Well he can stop, because I’m coming home. Knowing him he hasn’t eaten, and he won’t eat anything except for some weird fucking crackers that we ran out of. So I’m gonna have Jack stop so I can get some. Make sure he stays hydrated,” Tubbo said, “and listen to them, Ranboo. Don’t be stubborn like you usually are.”
“Hm,” Ranboo grumbled, pushing himself back onto the couch, and Wilbur grinned.
“We’ll take good care of him, Toby,” Wilbur said, and Tommy put in his two cents of agreement.
“Alright, I think there’s some Powerade in the fridge,” Tubbo said and Ranboo perked up a bit.
“Alright, we’ll give him some of that. Be safe,” Wilbur said, and they said their goodbyes.
“You should change into lighter clothes,” Wilbur said, and Ranboo groaned, shaking his head.
“M’comfy,” Ranboo yawned.
Wilbur sighed, “Alright, Toms, will you turn the aircon on?” He asked, and Tommy nodded, moving to turn it on. “Do you and Toby have medicine?” Wilbur asked.
“Bathroom,” Ranboo mumbled, and Wilbur stood to get it.
“Stay with him,” Wilbur hummed and Tommy nodded, sitting next to Ranboo. Tommy had Ranboo lean on him, checking his forehead and making a face at the fever Ranboo had, plus at how sweaty he was. He slipped the hood off, not that Ranboo cared much, to hopefully help cool him off.
Wilbur returned with some medicine, getting the proper dose out, he gave it to Ranboo and handed the water over. Ranboo took the medicine before setting the water down again.
“Did you feel sick when you woke up?” Wilbur asked, and Ranboo shrugged.
“Felt gross,” Ranboo hummed. “Threw up… took a shower… fell asleep again,” Ranboo mumbled.
“Hm,” Wilbur thought for a moment, “Alright, well. I want you to eat something before Toby gets here. Can I make you some buttered toast?” Wilbur asked, and Ranboo shrugged, leaning more against Tommy.
“M’not hungry,” Ranboo mumbled.
“Please?” Wilbur asked, and Ranboo blinked his eyes open, seeing Wilbur's face made him sigh before nodding.
Wilbur stood to make him the food. Having it made in just a few minutes. When he returned, Ranboo sat up to accept the plate. He hummed as he took a few bites, his stomach already gurgling at him. He finished one piece of toast before he felt sick again, not enough to throw up, but enough to make his stomach turn looking at the other piece.
Wilbur took the plate from him and set it down. “Good, at least you got something in your system.”
Wilbur took his temperature properly, it being higher than normal, but not enough to make Wilbur worry too badly. Ranboo ended up passing out again, curling up on the couch in Tommy’s lap. Wilbur decided to clean up a bit, not that he had to, but he felt a cleaner environment for Ranboo would be good. Tommy just focused on sleeping Ranboo, while dming Tubbo.
An hour passed, and Ranboo woke up again, groaning and pushing himself up.
“Hey Boo, Toby should be home soon,” Tommy said, and Ranboo rubbed his face, nodding and leaning against the back of the couch as Wilbur walked back into the main room. Ranboo noticed it was cleaner.
“Were you cleaning?” Ranboo asked, and Wilbur shrugged. “Wil, that’s not your job-”
“Never said it was,” Wilbur said, sitting down next to Ranboo. Checking his forehead again and handing him some water, “But I figured it would probably just be better for you mentally.” Ranboo sighed as he finished the water. “How's your stomach?” He asked.
“Hurts,” Ranboo said, setting the cup down.
“I can start making you some soup? You can eat that with whatever crackers Toby’s bringing,” Wilbur offered, and Ranboo nodded.
“We’ve got chicken noodle in there,” Ranboo mumbled, and Wilbur nodded, standing.
Wilbur called Tommy into the kitchen, and Ranboo pulled his phone up, yawning again. He was still so tired even after taking two naps. When Tommy returned, he had a Powerade in his hand. Ranboo accepted the cold drink. He cracked it open, taking a few sips, the flavoring giving him something better to taste other than his spit.
As Wilbur made the soup in the kitchen Tubbo returned home with the crackers and drinks and among other things. Jack came inside as well. Tubbo went to Ranboo immediately, checking him and causing Ranboo to chuckle at how worried he looked.
“I’m fine, I’m fine,” Ranboo said, taking Tubbo’s hands off his face. “Wil’s making me soup to eat with the crackers.”
“Good. Medicine?” Tubbo asked. And Ranboo nodded.
“And he gave me some toast, and I took a nap. I’m fine,” Ranboo reassured. “It’s just a fever and something in my stomach,” Ranboo reassured, and Tubbo nodded.
The rest of the day, they all took care of Ranboo to the point where Ranboo almost felt suffocated, but it actually was kinda nice. Ranboo ate the soup and crackers and for the rest of the day, his friend took care of him.
Maybe today wasn’t that bad of a day.
