Chapter Text
Birds sang, children ran, and cars honked;
It was a sunny summer day when Tommy realized something earth-shattering.
Tommy Innit - your average British teen looked shocked, which was quickly switched into despair a moment later.
In front of him was a chocolate muffin. The price? Five quid. 'Blasphemy(!),' Wilbur would say if he was here. How can a muffin cost almost as much as a pop and some crisps?!
The thing is, Tommy swore that the muffin cost around 1 pound yesterday. Fucking capitalism.
"Are you going to order anything, Tommy?" A sweet, pleasant voice was heard over the counter that displayed the baked goods. Puffy smiled at the boy, "a line is building behind you."
Tommy glanced back, behind him were several furries, all wearing different headpieces on their heads.
Damn, there must be a furry convention nearby, he thinks. Maybe he should tell Wilbur and his son Fundy about this - they're into that shit if he remembered right.
He looked away and focused back at the muffin, weighing his options. On the other hand, a scrumptious-looking muffin. And on the other -
Tommy walked out of Miss Puffy's Bakery, now five quid poorer and holding a small brown bag;
He walked away with a pep in his step, delighted that he now has a muffin to snack on while in Mr. Mincraft's class. Sure he now had no money to take the bus home, but muffin.
And as Tommy turned the corner from the street, something out of this world happened. For a split second, Ms. Puffy's sign glitched, glitching to read: Puffy's Witchery & Bakery for The Unknown.
-
(Badboyhalo curiously eyed the boy that had left with a muffin from Puffy's bakery. He finds it a bit odd that a boy so young would be visiting a bakery this early? He swore that witchery school wouldn't start until night.
Poor boy must be pulling an all-dayer.
"Next!"
Bad gives Puffy a smile when he reaches the counter. "Your usuals," she says, knowing his order by heart.
"Yes, please," he reaches for his wallet, pulling out bills for his order. But as he does so, he also tries to make small talk.
"So, Puffy," Bad starts counting the money he's going to hand to her, "what's the deal with the blonde kid? I thought Witches don't begin school until way into the night."
The sheep hybrid pauses from her steps and sends him a perplexed look.
"Bad," Puffy sets the two muffins and fire res she was holding down in front of him. "Tommy is a human.")
Tommy 'Theseus' Innit was his full name. He was tall, blonde, and British. Nothing noticeable at first,
Until you realize that Tommyinnit isn't any ordinary guy. No. He's a big, strong, handso-
A book slams onto his desk, startling him out of his daydream.
"Tommy," his teacher, spoke his name in a controlled voice. Although only a dense person wouldn't notice the obviously hidden undertone of irritation, Mr. Minecraft held in his words. "Please tell the class who was the leader of the Communist Party in Russia, during 1924 through 56."
Sadly, Tommy was one of these people.
So rather than be frightened and quiet like most of his classmates became after their history teacher singled him out. He instead asks the first question that pops into his mind to change the subject.
"Who do you think would win? An Angel or a Demon?" He asks, sending his teacher a pondering look. Hopefully, Mr. Minecraft doesn't catch how his hands shake.
And for a moment, it seemed time had stopped; No-one moved or even tried to make a sound to break the silence as his question rang through the class. Well, that's until,
Mr. Minecraft's face goes red, "excuse me." His classmates all take a sharp intake of air, all waiting in anticipation for their teacher's next words. Those bastards, he curses mentally, now awaiting the lecture that's about to happen. Damn, he didn't even get to eat his mouth-watering muffin.
"It'll obviously be the Angel," his teacher says indignantly.
"What?" Half his class says out loud, confused by the chain of events. He also happened to be part of that half. He was not expecting that. But, then again, who can resist his charms.
His teacher clears his throat, face turning from an angry to a more blushing color of red. And before he can explain anymore - the bell rings.
In a split second, half the class is already up and running towards the door. But, before the first student could even get a hold of the doorknob, Mr. Minecraft once again clears his throat.
"Pages 420 to 469 is the homework for today. Class dismissed." Groans go around, and Mr. Minecraft finally walks away from Tommy's table, seeming to have aged several years as he does so.
.
(Phil throws himself onto his chair when his last student leaves. XD - why did he decide to be a teacher this century? Maybe he should've gone with that YouTube thing.
He sighs and looks towards the window of his third-floor classroom, "I think I was a bit harsh with him, dear." Regret settles into his bones as it finally sets how childish he was acting.
A crow from out of nowhere appears and perches on the window, tilting its head. "You were," a voice that can only be heard in his mind says, "but it can't be helped. He doesn't know the length you've gone during the war of the Gods."
"Still," he mumbles and leans back on his chair, "I should apologize tomorrow."
The voice hums in agreement, and he chuckles.
"What would I do without you, my goddess."
"And I the same, my angel.")
.
Tommy ignores the glares sent his way, scowling at anyone that tries to complain to him about the stunt he just pulled to make their teacher give them more homework. It wasn't his fault that Mr. Mincraft found his question offensive. How was he supposed to know that his teacher was a religious maniac?! For sure, not him.
"Tommy," a deep voice says behind him.
Let it be known he would deny any claim that says he flinched violently away from the voice.
"Oh, sorry," the voice says apologetically.
"What do you want, Ran boob?" He turns around, glaring at the taller boy.
Ranboo raises his hands in peace, looking like he was being held at gunpoint. "Um, Tubbo is looking for you?" He says nervously.
Tommy raises an eyebrow and scoffs. "Then what the fuck are you waiting for? Let's go." And no, he doesn't purposely bump into Ranboo's shoulder. He's not that childish. Sometimes.
It was still the middle of the day, and school wasn't going to end anytime soon. But then again, he had PE next, so….
.
("We're gonna hex him next, Nikki," Jack glares at the blonde as he and his friend watch the boy skip as they hide behind the language arts building.
Nikki nods, leaning against the building, "because of him, we have extra homework, so that means I'll have less time to play with Zuko."
Jack stands up straight from his position, "so we're in agreement," and sends his pink-haired friend a mad-grin.
"Definitely," she grins back, just as enthusiastically.)
