This fic is so good. This is a great what-if concept too. I love how this fic depicts Franziska's character and elevates it so amazingly. She shows a lot of development. Franziska is her usual prideful self (love how one of her points for Phoenix's innocence is that if Phoenix won against her, then he'd definitely win against Klavier, a less experienced prosecutor), but admits she does care for Phoenix. Franziska buiding her own legacy while reprimanding and building on Manfred's teachings is very interesting. Franziska has an interesting idea on 'perfection': she advises she won't succumb like her father and part of her resolve to reinstate Phoenix is how unfair his disbarment was. Franziska being firendly with Trucy and accepting being her aunt was so sweet. I love the parallels drawn here between Franziska/Manfred and Trucy/Zak in terms of father figures.
