Petrichor
A comely heavenly smell that can only be enjoyed in the fullest like so; one frolics through the fields under a sky so illustriously
bright, blue, and beautiful.
Breathing in the soothing aroma deeply sets the mind to ease, droplets hang in the air gliding down into the lungs.
Petrichor in all its shining glory comes in the hour of need.
Bring hope, peace, and the sunlight at the end of a darkened tunnel.
A tang of metal on the tongue – lightning comes;
Blinding flashes flicker whilst earth-shattering crack cuts through the blackest clouds; but Petrichor comes without fail.
Petrichor replaces the darkness with this light; Replaces the downpour of water with a charmed fragrance in the form of small droplets sliding off blades of grass.
The earth sighs, releases this perfume all around.
The smell of the storm passed on like honey-drops hanging in the air.
The feel of the darkened soil sinking under the weight of water, and the smell of raindrops absorbed brings a soothing touch in the palms.
This is petrichor: Fragrance of a rain-kissed earth.
