When Sam first came earthside to give his charges, Steven and Natalia, some much-needed guardian-angel assistance, he never expected to spend so much time with their best friend. He certainly didn't expect to fall so hard, so fast for the guy.
It was nerve racking that first time Sam revealed his wings to Bucky, but nothing changed with the way Bucky treated him -- the way Bucky loved him. It still makes Sam giddy to think about it.
