Summary
“You all hate the holidays so much you will talk about anything but them.” Yelena was exasperated.
“Never said I hated it.” Toni counters. “I just do not…have good experiences with it.”
“Same.” Ava and James say in unison.
That's when Yelena gets an idea.
“Then how about we have a holiday party?” She offers. Looking around the common area, she can already see it. Lights strung up around the bar, gingerbread houses on the counter, a big holiday feast on the table. The perfect tree in the living room, all adorned with lights and garlands and ornaments, presents underneath. “Take it into our own hands. Make our own good holiday experiences.”
OR: The Thunderbolts spend their first holiday season together, complete with gingerbread and secret Santa. They learn a lot about each other along the way.

Summary
They were taking AJ and Cass out on the water, and Sarah had said she’d cook dinner with whatever they brought back. Sam was really hoping for at least 3 redfish, that would mean they could each have a grilled filet. There was a little grass flat not too far from the dock at Sarah’s, Sam had a bunch of shrimp as bait, and was ready to do some sight fishing. Bucky, on the other hand, was planning to cast his reel and see what came.
OR: Sam and Bucky go on a fishing trip with AJ and Cass.

Summary
“I'll make you real meals tomorrow.” Bucky promises, throwing the wrapper in the trash. “Or, y’know, later today, technically….which reminds me…” He leans down, gives Sam a gentle kiss on his forehead. “It's after midnight. Happy birthday, honey.”
“Thanks.” Sam lays back down, the two pillows propping his head up even as the rest of his body is horizontal. “Great way to spend it.” He huffs sarcastically.
OR: Sam is recovering from a broken nose and a nasty concussion. Oh, and it happens to be his birthday.

Summary
“Yeah, yeah, you're super strong, walking through a downpour is probably so easy-” She said sarcastically, but Sam didn't get to hear her finish what she was saying.
Instead, he dropped his phone as he was unceremoniously punched in the stomach, his body suddenly flying back into an alley.
His vision went completely dark for a single millisecond when his head hit the concrete, and the rain was obscuring his vision once he came back to himself. The pounding rain hurt, feeling like little pinpricks on his skin. The bag and all the action figures were scattered across the alleyway, getting completely ruined, but he managed to keep his grip on his umbrella.
“Oh, little bird.” The sickeningly familiar voice cut through the sound of rainfall. “Looks like I've caught you again.”
OR: Sam gets attacked. In the lull between reality and unconsciousness, his mind reminds him of all those he's lost.

Summary
"I ate all the candy I packed.” Joaquín leaned his head back against the passenger's seat headrest. “...and drank all the soda.”
“It's been an hour, man.” Sam shook his head playfully. The normal route to the base would take about four hours, but Sam had found a way that avoided most major roads, taking them primarily along backroads. As it stood on the road they were on, they were surrounded by trees and were the only car in sight. If they were being tracked, whether by Sidewinder, the government, whoever was at Camp Echo One, or perhaps all three, there was a lesser chance they'd be located if they avoided highways. It bumped the trip up to five and a half hours, but it was still less time and hassle then it would be if somebody found out where they were going and tried to stop them.
“Well you made me turn off my phone. I was bored, what else was I supposed to do? All I packed was snacks.”
“Please tell me you brought your suit too.” Sam said, really just teasing.
OR: Sam and Joaquín take a road trip down to Camp Echo One, and Sam realizes some things about the Falcon mantle.
