Summary
This is the first version of my failed multi-chapter EdLing fic that I started in 2016, which I used to refer to here and there on my tumblr blog back in the day.
This was my first big undertaking for a longfic, planned as this long, emotional story spanning multiple one-shots and chaptered stories. The fics “Setbacks” and “Take My Hand or Don’t” were originally going to be pieces of this saga.
But my over-ambition, poor mental health and terrible work ethic undermined me, and after several years, I no longer have the will to keep trying to make this happen. (And now the fandom’s half-dead anyway)
PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME TO FINISH THIS (EITHER VERSION).
I appreciate all comments and feedback, but please respect my decisions. It took long enough to publish what little I am posting here. It has been a major source of stress and shame to me, especially as I post it in this permanently-unfinished state for the foreseeable future.
And since this was poorly planned and has undergone many edits, rewrites and deletions over the years, it would be too difficult to pull together either version into a finished state at this point.Series
