"Baba baba ba ba"
The child's voice babbles from over head. Din's eyes peek open slowly. Grogu was leaning over the side of his hammock, arms outstretched towards his guardian waving about.
Din groans slightly. His sleep was quite deep and relaxing. Grogu, now seeing he was awake babbles louder and rocks his bed back and forth.
Reaching up he grabs the child from his bed and brings him down to rest in his arms. Now whimpering the child bumps his mouth to Din's chest and pulls the soft kute as if trying to tear it open.
"Oh ad'ika are you hungry?" he asks. The kid doesn't seem to understand his words, more focused on trying to get food.
"It's okay ad'ika. I'm here." Din promises the baby and moves to set him down.
At the movement the kid starts to wail.
"Hey no. It's okay ad'ika I'm gonna feed you. I just need to take this off, okay?" As he speak he quickly sheds off the garment and tossed it aside.
Taking him back into his arms shifts him so he's cradled in the crook of his arm. Once Grogu is level with Din's nipple he latches on with a sharp bite.
Din puffs a little air at the sting but refocuses on the feeling of milk rushing down to feed the child.
Grogu's whimpers hush at the warm milk filling up his tummy.
With Grogu settled the other child starts kicking now that their sibling is quiet.
Running his unoccupied hand down his stomach and sighs, "Let's hope your sibling is as cute as you ad'ika." he says to the half asleep child.
