Blowing off Steam

Summary:

Foolish had a hard day at Las Nevadas and decides to blow off some steam with a thunderstorm and comes home to his boyfriends completely out of energy and ready for cuddles.

Work Text:

Foolish's footsteps shook the ground as his anger rose.

Today had been more stressful, working with Quackity at Las Nevadas.

Bolts of light sparked around his balled fists. His eyebrows frowned and his eyes glowed brighter than usual. The thoughtless grin that was usually plastered onto his face was not to be seen as a frown took its place.

He walked through the portal to L'sandberg, ready to blow off some steam.

He threw his trident off to the side, lifting his arms into the air taking a deep breath, and held it, he focused all of his attention on the growing storm clouds above him.

The muscles in his arms tensed as he struggled to maintain the storm long enough for it to form properly. As soon as the storm formed he threw his arms down, screaming as the storm took over the entirety of L'sandberg.

Extreme winds picked up and started blowing sand everywhere, he ignored it. He started walking again but this time he shook the ground more now and lightning struck every time he took a step.

He paced back and forth, the sound of thunder blaring in his ear.

After a minute he gathered his strength and aimed it at the first thing his eyes landed on, an innocent chicken.

He let out another scream as the chicken had no time to react before it was a cooked piece of meat on the ground.

The clouds went away as the sky cleared, Foolish relaxed as he fell to his knees. He panted trying to catch his breath.

He groaned when he tried to stand, his legs absolutely killing him. He forced himself up anyway and walked over to the cooked chicken.

He picked it up, took a bite of it, and continued walking.

°°°

Each step Foolish took sent a sharp pain through his entire body. He could barely hold his eyes open as he struggled to open the door of his and his boyfriends' home.

As soon as he had it to their bed he flopped onto it and took a breath of relief.

Not too long after that, he felt the bed dip on both sides of his body, he didn't bother opening his eyes, knowing who it was.

Sam and Ponk curled up next to their larger lover, Ponk resting his head on his chest and Sam starting to play with his hair.

"Rough day, Foosh?" Ponk asked, not expecting a verbal answer, which he didn't receive. Foolish groan in response and moved a bit on the bed to get comfortable.

Sam snickered at this before kissing Foolish on the forehead "Night, darlin' "

They fell asleep like that, Ponk and Sam already preparing for Foolish to go off in the morning about what happened. Not like they minded.
