Chapter Text

Okay so to start this off before anything

One: I'm on mobile so I apologize for any jitteriness of the text especially since this is my first time posting on ao3 so if something is wrong let me know

Two: there could easily be spoilers keep that in mind if you wanna figure out each character yourself

Three: I have some headcanons written down rn, I'm going to get a good amount written before posting them but keep in mind that there won't be any specific update schedule

Four: depending on how I feel at times I plan to write some short stories for the characters some will be self-insert some won't it will all depend on what I'm feeling and each story will be in a separate post as to not overcrowd this one

Five: feel free to mention headcanons that you have would love to hear them myself!

Chapter Text

Haley:

1:
Haley would hate those porn games and videos where a character with a set body type is altered to become a sexual fantasy full of hentai breasts and curves that are just far too curvy. She also hates it when the characters are drawn with such a tiny waist and they are just far too petite with massive tits and an ass that makes no sense. Like honestly how has your back not snapped in half yet? Your whole back has got to be in pain! God the stress on your spine.

2:
I like to imagine that Haley is insecure as all hell under that font she puts up. Now maybe not in every single thing, she does but I think, she has been dumped a lot in the past, or something was said multiple times, etc, etc and so she puts on this font this little snobby rich girl who is very nice here and there and so it's hard for her to tell what is her genuine reaction and what is fake, so much so that she doesn't even try to figure out which is which anymore.

3:
Haley is not one for a polygamous relationship if anything she is monogamous. She would be insecure with it wondering when her partner will leave her, and I can not see her sharing at all. She strikes me as someone who gets jealous easily and is quick to jump to conclusions

Penny:
1
Penny would most definitely be apprehensive about a polygamous relationship it would be something she would think to be outlandish so you would need to convince her to be in one, by explaining and giving examples and so long as she receives the correct responses she would be down

Penny most definitely did not have a good childhood. Not only is Penny's dad not in the picture but her mom is a raging alcoholic who verbally abuses her and would rather spend all her money on booze while she tries her best to keep a roof over their heads. So because of that Penny is more reserved than many other characters and a lot more uptight with alcohol despite this she still loves her mother deeply

I can see our character easing penny up a bit, getting her out of her shell. the more time we spend with her the more carefree she becomes the more she is willing to break a few rules not a lot of courses she's still new to the whole scene but just like little things like her trying out let's say I don't know uh her trying out a new hair color that her mother never approved of

Vincent:

1:
Would 100% be so mad that you are dating Penny ESPECIALLY if he had told you his little crush on her, he would become mean to you or as mean as a little 5 year old can be, but anyway I can imagine him huffing and puffing and even being mean to penny for a short while before he realizes (after MANY talks because again he's 5 and can't control his emotions all that good) he's being mean so he'll apologize?

2:
I swear he would be the kind of kid to pull pranks on someone, mind you, they aren't the best pranks (he reads them out of a little joke book that hasn't seen the light of day since the dinosaurs roamed the earth) but they are pranks nonetheless and he gets a kick out of them, sometimes the adults will play along depending on the prank.

3
Vincent once snuck into the haunted maze without anyone noticing for at least 20 minutes,(it's a small town everyone knows everyone and Jodi probably thought Caroline had a hold on him) he was terrified to go past the hands but once he did it was smooth-ish sailing from there on out…. He got lost and cried until he was found. He then received a big lecture from his mom about not wandering off like so.

Chapter Text

Jas

1:
Jas would absolutely love to receive a bag of fairy rose seeds because that means she can grow her own! Don't care what the game says, don't care what her intentional reaction was to receiving the bags of seeds, she would love it! she would request some indoor plant pots and she would go crazy with them and that is all she would talk about for AGES fairy rose this fair rose that! The little lady would never stop talking about them and she'll thank the player non-stop. I can picture her jumping up and down barely containing her excitement. And once she has successfully grown a rose she would be showing it to EVERYONE she would be carrying that rose around like a trophy god she would be so annoying about it.

2:
Jas absolutely loves thunderstorms, she loves the pitter-patter from the rain hitting the house, she loves how it smells, she loves to play in the rain, she loves to watch the thunder strike across the sky lighting up the whole world for just a few seconds then BAM away it goes. There is not a thing she hates about it, she finds it calming and relaxing

3:
I feel like Jas knows a bit more than your average kid her reaction to Shane passing out drunk only to wake up to your character pouring water on him and saying how he's better off dead and Jas hearing and seeing that etc it's clearly not the first time she's seen something like that and it won't be the last (even if Shane is getting help later on in the game)

4:
The poor girl does not get enough attention from the grown-ups in her life. Let's be real here, she even said it herself about how Shane and marine are always busy with something or another and because of that she is naturally lonely and she adores anyone who gives her attention. And the person who gives her(and Vincent) consent attention is Penny and so little miss Jas sees Penny as a parent figure because she is the only one who as I've said gives her the attention that she needs and deserves and Penny adores the girl right back she loves both of the kids!

Gus

1:
Gus is obviously a bartender we all know this he owns a Saloon for crying out loud and because he's a saloon owner he hears all sorts of things he also people watch(i mean you have to make sure no one is getting too rowdy, plus it's good to keep an eye out) and oh boy, oh boy the amount of dirt he has on some of the people he knows lewis and Marnie are going at it you would have to be blind not to realize it, and oh my god! With the amount of stories he has from listening to Shanes's drunken rambles, and pams drunken crying he could write a book!

2:
The saloon he owns was owned by his parents and it was passed onto him after their death at first he was highly against owning one since it just wasn't him, only keeping it because it belonged to his parents (plus it was good income) but over the years of keeping it and making repairs and changing the look to be more up to code he grew to love it.

3:
Gus has killed a man and he will kill again. I have no reason to think this except for the five heart event where he shows up on your doorstep stirring his sauce and comparing the player to it and I swear he would be able to hide your body and no one will be able to find it. Hey, who knows! Maybe he cooked the previous body, chopped it up, and served it as a special of the weak! Or maybe I'm overanalyzing it? Oh well, I like that whole cannibal idea better than just him talking to the player!

4:
I can picture gus never wanting a romantic relationship he has had one a few times but he's never really enjoyed them I can't even see him wanting something sexual if anything he's comfortable where he's at not to mention a relationship whether sexual or romantic makes him feel like he's trapped. Does he know why? Do I know why? Nope! I'm just writing whatever comes to mind!

Harvey

1:
Harvey is not actually a doctor, he is a boldface liar! Look, all of us have been in his room before and we have all seen the content in his room and so we all know he's into airplanes and the likes. So if anything, the man is a pilot! Like come on! He has a do it yourself knee surgery book. Sure you can argue about not having any schooling around all you want BUT I know the truth! Harvey is a liar who has no real medical degree if anything he has a pilot degree but rests assured he at the very least knows what he's doing thanks to all those DIY books he has laying around

2:
So when you're with penny she mentions maru and Harvey and how maru definitely likes Harvey (or something along those lines I honestly can't remember so if it doesn't line up oh well) but what I can picture is that it's actually the other way around Harvey likes or liked maru but she had shut him down the guy was completely understanding of it and let her be

3:
I don't know why but he strikes me as someone who is absolutely terrified of ladybugs. Can see this headcanon happening one of two ways the first one is that it is a fear he has like the fear of long words, it's something that has no real explanation as to why he's scared of one, or two I can see one of his friends older siblings or something scaring him to death with a ladybug you know just being mean by putting all these strange little pictures into his head and than you have him thinking and thinking until the pictures are so big that he became scared of them freezes when he sees one sure he knows the stories about ladybugs crawling into your nose, eating your eyes and puking fake ones back into their place while you sleep ain't true but my god it doesn't stop the poor man from feeling fear and it sure as hell won't stop a little kid from staying up all night praying he won't fall asleep in case ladybugs come and eat his eyes! my god when his parents found out the cause of that they were MAAAD

4:
He has an obsession with making candles he's just really good at hiding it that even us the players can't seem to find any handmade candles but oh he has them and he's very embarrassed not because its a girly thing to have or do or whatever no he's embarrassed because of how awful they look. They are horrendous they shouldn't even be classified as candles it looks like a newborn baby had slapped some stuff together to get the look they have

Chapter Text

Abby:

1:
If we are dating Abby we should 100% be able to go through the maze with her and when we do we shield her from said maze I mean come on! Perfect date right there plus it would be cute trying to get her to follow us and basically just shielding her whole face from the spiders as we go on about a new interesting gem we found in the mine or Abby talks about a new game she is interested in and BAM! We make it through the spiders and get our Golden pumpkin.

2:
Ever since Abby was little she's been able to communicate with spirits and has an interest in the supernatural. And we all know that she's a gothic little witch who loves an adventure and loves to swing a sword (but that's besides the point).

But I feel like this all started because at a young age she was capable of seeing something uhh… well inhuman and was capable of communicating with it, she was most likely out in the woods playing with the woodland creatures when it happened.

All the animals ran and hid as it became eerily silent, she was confused of course because why would they run? Did she do something? That's when she noticed it, the oddly shaped figure hiding behind a tree, watching her. It was something yet nothing all at once. Abby gazed back, the two locked in a staring contest until suddenly she said hi. She spooked the creature, making it run off. It was only later that day, when she was laying in bed trying to make sense of the day that the thing(who addressed itself as D) decided to say hi and the rest is history.

3:
Abby strikes me as someone who loves and I mean LOVES black licorice. I do not care what anyone else says, she loves it. The girl just can't get enough of it and god forbid you take her black licorice girl can hold a grudge like no other! I mean come on! It's just black licorice but nope! If you take it you're dead to her, well least until you give her more.

Marine:

1:
Now Marnie has most definitely killed someone, I mean come on! When it comes down to it she will gladly kill someone and if she hasn't killed someone, then she most definitely has given advice on how to kill someone. I feel like she and Gus would get along in that department quite well. Discussing some proper ways to dispose of a corps and whether or not farm animals eat corps (marine is postive they do after all farm animals love meat believe it or not but she has never been able to test that theory out), though they wouldnt be discussing the whole eating humans thing that Gus has going on, i mean after all Marine isn't THAT messed up and gus isn't dumb enough to let that little secret free.

2:
Marine has a slight okay not a slight but a big obsession with Lewis we all know she's in love with him and he with her but I swear her love for him is a bit of an obsession kinda like a stalker finally able to get with their victim (i hope that's the right word) before they started talking and dating (and let's be real they aren't fooling anyone I mean come on! Anyone with two blind eyes can see that something is going on) I can definitely see Marine watching Lewis from a distance before slowly getting the courage to talk to him properly other than the typical tax-related talk.

3:
She is absolutely terrified of horror movies, no matter how dull and boring they are she is simply terrified of them. If someone suggests a horror movie and it's picked she leaves, not caring how it looks to others or how rude it may seem, she doesn't care she refuses to watch a horror movie point blank.

Mayor lewis:

1:
That has a god damn god complex, why else would he make a GOLDEN statue of HIMSELF!? And on top of that, the guy is embarrassed by the whole ordeal. He wants people to worship him like a god but doesn't want people to think that he wants that. Look I don't get it but that's my take on it. I mean honestly, he has some type of superiority complex going on…. Maybe he likes it more when he and Marine are getting it on

2:
I feel like his least favorite weather is when it's blistering hot out and you're just sweating out of every single hole in your body, wanting nothing more than to shove yourself into the freezer to get cool. I can easily picture him sitting in front of his AC, naked as the day he was born and just living his best life ignoring his duties.

3:
He's a simple man (for the most part) and when you're a simple man your life is simple (again for the most part) but my lord! He LIVES for gossip! As much as he doesn't want his own secrets out and about he loves to hear everyone else's secrets and let me tell ya the guy knows so much!

Chapter Text

Demetrius:

1:
Demetrius is so in love with his wife my lord! It's the kind of love that Gomez and Morticia have in a sense sure they argue and have little fights(after all Demetrius has said his wife has hot temper and they banter a lot but come on he loves his wife he finds her perfect in every way

2:
Okay this one isn't so much of a headcanon if anything it's just a fact. This man is so goddamn overprotective of maru that it is ridiculous, Jesus it's just UUGGH! He really needs to lay off of pour maru let her figure out her own stuff i'm mean come on shes an adult give her a break. Not to mention he favors his daughter over his stepson! and yes that could be due to, many different things whether that be them not bonding well, him being a bad stepdad (and lets be real that is probably the case) or anything and everything in between.

3:
This guy is kind of a work alcoholic he will throw himself into his work day in and day out he will be working a lot of the time he will need to be yanked out of it.

Sebastian:

1:
If he were to get a pet of some kind of any kind to be exact he would get a frog why? Simple He fuckin loves frogs, and I mean he LOVES them specifically arrowhead frogs they just look so fascinating to him, so cute and tiny he just wants to pick em up and hug em! The boy has no doubt done so much research on them again and again that he could easily write a report on how to take care of arrowhead frogs, hell! He probably has. After all, he does freelance work.

2: this dude had an extreme weeb phase but, BUT it was a strictly online thing only. He would and will not be caught dead doing all the webby shit that others do I mean come on! He lives in a village for Pete's sake! If word got out, he would never hear the end of it! He'll forever be known as that weird weeb that lives in the mountains with his mother and stepdad. Now don't get me wrong he still did a whole lot of stuff irl he was just smart about it.

3:
It is my firm belief that He enjoys drawing in his free time. Is he any good at it? Eh not really after all he just started a few months ago but he's getting Better. He likes looking up YouTube videos on how to draw levi (aot) in chibi style, this is also something he refuses to show anyone.

Sandy:

1:
Sandy absolutely adores puzzles especially those that are a thousand pieces or more but here's the thing she doesn't particularly care for the puzzles that are square in shape. Yeah sure she likes them and they can be fun but what she likes are the ones shaped as the thing that she is putting together. Like a puzzle shaped like a fox or a deer and so on, now these shapes are what she adorea the most.

2:
She has to wear glasses otherwise shes blindnas a bat, the only reason wgy you don't see her wearing any is because she wears contacts when shes out and about when shes home on the other hand she wears em all she wants.

3:
She absoutly hates the cold she just does. Sandy very much prefers the heat well excluding the times when said heat gets unbarable than shes very thankful for her ac whivh is almost always on full blast

Chapter Text

Penny:

1:
Penny straight up has anxiety and nothing you can't say or do anything to make me think otherwise, her anxiety is caused by specific triggers as well as everyday life.

2:
Penny loves watching the ocean during a thunderstorm even if she hates the cold. She adores sitting on the shoreline and listening to the waves beat against rocks as the wind picks up, all the while the rain pours down relentlessly around her. soaking her and although she knows she could get sick she stays and watches.

3:
I can see her loving some type of action movie or a book that is more action than anything else, she absolutely loves it when there is a fight scene whether it's a scene where someone is learning to fight or it's just straight-up badass fight scene ya know?

Willy:

1:
Willy cares more about fishing than any other thing that exists, that man lives and breathes for it. He wakes up and it's time to fish, when bedtime comes around he has to fish. His lunch is even spent fishing! hell if he could he would be snoozing while fishing! The only times when he doesn't fish is when he is busy doing something else.

2:
He would take such great care of his ship that you wouldn't even think that thing has been in the sea at all! He would probably be cleaning it once a week making sure to give proper maintenance when needed, it would be his pride and joy.

3:
He has a phobia of really long words(I don't remember the name of the phobia mind you) and if something has a really long word he will do everything in his power to avoid said something.

Maru:

1:
Maru enjoys building things out of legos, she has an obsession with legos why? Who knows! (well that's a lie, building with legos can calm her down) All I can tell you I that she loves to build things with them, the most common thing to see her build would be foxes and rabbits.

2:
It is with firm belief that Maru is extremely perverted and most likely masturbates often to porn or whatever it is that she gets off to (really just use your imagination probably write something later) and honestly who can blame her! Poor girl needs some type of stress reliever in that small town where her dad is WAY overprotective.

3:
Oh and that leads me to number three! She is extremely tired of having to deal with her father and his overprotective ways! I mean honestly, she can't even mention a boy's name, or else he'll get his panties in a twist! Like don't get her wrong she loves her dad bt God she can't wait to move on out! At least her stepmom isn't like that.

Alex:

1:
Alex writes really bad emo poetry, and posts it online under a username that won't ever be told *cough, cough* Ebnydarkness_45raven *cough, cough*

I mean honestly, you could show him the exact folder that he has on his phone and be like "dude this is totally your emo poetry just admit it!" and poor old Alex would deny it so hard that he would start accusing YOU of writing the bad poetry and next thing you know everyone is extremely confused (besides Alex who's just embarrassed)

2:

Let's be real Alex is strictly brawn and no brains, he would charge head first into a snake-infested pit just because it's fun, ignoring the fact that said snakes are deadly and will bite. Does Alex care? Pfft of course not, fun first, consequences later! Future Alex without a doubt will be regretting his actions later, as he lays in a hospital bed with Haley sitting next to him, wondering if he was dropped on his head as a baby.

The answer? Yeaahhh, yeah he was.

3:

Boy loves to bake, he just absolutely loves it. He loves baking with his grandmother. There are just so many good memories involved that it's just hard not to love it. He loves making cookies, cakes brownies, bread, ect, etc. I Mean you just name it and I guarantee that he has done it!

Sebastian:

1:

Sebastian and Maru fight a LOT and I mean a lot at most 3 days a week, they will legit get into fistfights mostly because one or the other did something to tick the other one off. Heck one time Maru put nair into Sebastian's shampoo and hoo boy was he pissed, all his hair was just gone maru ended up getting yelled at while Sebastian mourned his beautiful hair. (looking back he finds it really funny but he would never EVER admit that. Especially to Maru the little shit)

2:

Although Maru and him fight a lot he has been known to kick someones ass if they so much as touch his little sister. Heck Sam learnt that firsthand when they were all 15 or whatever age. First time Sam received a black eye.

3:

He loves to paint his nails pink, actually no! He loves to paint them all different colors, he just loves how it looks, especially since he grows out his nails super long. He even had to ask haley how to care for them properly much to his embarrassment when Haley screeched in joy stating how they have to have weekly nail sessions.

Elliott:

1:

Elliott is probably the most dramatic person you will ever meet, he will act as if the slightest inconvenience will kill him frankly it can get really old but eh its funny to watch him flail around when he gets scared because *gasp!* the floor creaked! There must be ghosts! It's going to come in and kill him! (he's also a big believer in the supernatural)

2:

Without a doubt this man is bisexual, listen I just refuse to believe he's straight. I fully believe that he has had many and I mean many sexy thoughts of both the men and women. Why? Cuz I just do that's the only reason.

Besides, based on how the game mechanics are, all the bachelors and bachelorettes are queer and i stand beside that.

3:

This man not only loves having his hair played with and braided he takes extremely good care of his hair it is his pride and joy he adores it through and through. He used so many different hair care products that he could rival haley

Chapter Text

Lewis:

1:
Lewis has trouble falling asleep constantly he's scared of the dark and must have a night light on or else he becomes really panicky

2:
This man absolutely hates cooking i refuse to believe otherwise he can quite literally never get the hang of it he almost always burns his food, hell he even burnt his noodles some fuckin how! And after. The 20th time he accepted his fate of eating out. Man can't cook to save his life

Jodie

1:
Ya know I feel like Jodie would absolutely be a metal head, she gives me these vibes of she probably would be headbanging to some really sick beats. And she definitely has a favorite band that she plays constantly

2:
So we already knows that she doesn't resent getting married at a young age and having kids but she desperately wants to leave and just start anew no kids, no husband suffering from ptsd (fuck the people who says he's abusive him having ptsd aint abusive, hell he was in war my dudes!) She just wants to know how different her life would be, maybe when Vincent is older and Sam has moved out she and kent would go and explore for a few years and just do normal teen stuff.

Alex:

1:
Alex flinches if you raise your voice. listen he's arrogant to mask his crippling self doubt (i mean when you have an abusive parent that's going to happen) and i fully believe he's a sensitive person he just masks that by acting like a big tough guy.

2:
He is a bit dumb when it comes to school stuff… okay a lot dumb but he's smart in many other aspects, i mean come on he can spend hours researching a subject and know basically everything about it!

Clint:

1:
Listen, my boy Clint, is NOT a stalker! For crying out loud, where did you guys get that from? From him looking nervously at Emily then running away? Man, poor guy has social anxiety and anxiety in general. He gets worked up into a tissey because he likes Emily but cant work up the courage to ask her out!

2:
I fully believe that Clint will one day get with Emily, it's going to be the hardest and most embarrassing thing possible but he will get there. Or maybe Emily ask him out! I mean come on she can't be that oblivious to him!

Chapter Text

Penny

1:
I'm self-diagnosing Penny with DID because I can and also because i'm self-projecting somewhat she most likely isn't aware of it or maybe she is, really I can't say maybe she finds out about it within a year when she starts to notice laps in her memory and seeing parts of herself (like thoughts and actions and even her body) outside of herself

2:
Penny without a doubt in my mind would be the most vanilla out of everyone when it comes to sex but I can see her getting into certain things. she would have to be introduced considering she would be so sheltered. Of course, now she would need a partner whose patient and understanding cause lord she would bolt if she was uncomfortable with something or someone

3:
I can easily see Penny with pet rats (totally not me self projecting my love for rats onto Penny) like maybe 3 or 4. She would have such a nice cage for them filled with all their fun little toys and ham racks, she will take them out constantly to give them exercise and love, dhe would walk around with them on her shoulder or have them in her lap, and they all would be named things like poppy, rice, apple jack, Mr.buns, etc god she would have the time of her life.

Demetrius:

1:
I think the strangest thing this man has ever seen was a big slim one with a remote, a pair of broken glasses, pants, purple shorts, a green hair tie, AND a pair of shoes sitting inside its stomach.

2:
Demetrius just stared and stared wondering if it killed someone or if the clothes just infused into the slim. But then the question of how the hell did all of that get down into the mines?? He was puzzled for days until he realized that the pants looked a lot like Mayor lewis pants and that the hair tie looked like marine's. It was a very funny conclusion which he then told his wife about, who then told her girlfriends and well you get the picture.

3:
I can see him as overbearing, like he means well he truly does but he is far too overbearing when it comes to his daughter Maru he hovers wanting her to get into his stuff like she's a miniature him. Always pushing her to do better not encouraging her love life at all, and the worst part is that he doesn't even realize it he just pushes and pushes and pushes!

Linus:

1:
I feel like Linus would hate physical contact. I don't know why exactly I mean it could be for absolutely any reason. Maybe it's due to sensory processing sensitivity or maybe he finds it uncomfortable or threatening. either way, he just doesn't care for physical touch.

2:
Pants, he just hates them, he hates that he can't move in them (he's never had pants that fit properly) so he opts for stuff like dresses or caveman attire?? I haven't a clue what he is wearing, maybe something like bird feathers or even leaves?? Whatever it is he simply hates pants

3:
I can picture him biting straight into a cactus fruit not caring about the spiky exterior (ignore that us the player also does that, and in all honestly i don't think said player is human tbh) and it just makes people shiver in "ugh how??" Who knows! This is linus the lovable wildman

Chapter Text

Name: sam

1:
He would absolutely love to be gifted flowers. I mean he has even said it himself that he really likes flowers! Now what kinds of flowers would honestly it depends, i'm not quite sure what he would want, maybe a summer spangle, maybe a flower that you can find in the dirt, maybe he likes crocus! honestly whos to say

2: his whole entire bed is just filled to the brim with blankets, he really likes blankets and making a nest in them and he hates it when he has to give up a blanket for whatever reason

3:he has a fear of fish i don't know why he has a fear of fish i don't know when this fear transpired but he just has a fear of fish, to him they are to slimy looking and gross

Name: Shane

1:
I can picture him hating slimes because the sludge would get stuck everywhere and yeah shane isn't the cleanest person he still hates it, it's all sticky and hard to get out of clothes. like ugh! It's such a hassle.

2: shane loves the smell of cinnamon buns they are his most favorite morning sweets he'll eat them all in one sitting and still want more it's like an addiction to them

3:i can see him surfing he seems like the kind of guy to just really enjoy it he loves soaking in the sun as he well surfs

Name: player kids star and Benjamin

1:
I refuse to believe that my kids (I should make them in the sims) are human and I refuse to believe that my player is human. (that's for another time right now we are focusing on the kids). I genuinely believe that they are some edlich horror thing (birthed by the player or maybe it was some edlich horror adoption agency that the player picked out) because they can go through walls and into the void and they just don't feel human if that even makes sense

2: star i can see her just eating globs of honey any chance she gets just straight from the hive her mother cherry (aka my character) thinks nothing of it her other mother emily would be very concerned about the amount of honey she eats.

3: Benjamin (ben for short) would wander the woods looking for things to put in his mouth, he's not a very bright kid but still. He would have to have supervision a lot more than his sister

Name: Shane
