"Let me get this right," Nino said. "Your cousin was the one who gave all the miraculous to Shadowmoth?! Why would he do that?"
"I don't know, me and Ladybug went to London to confront him, but he's missing," Adrien said.
"Do you think he's working for Shadowmoth?"
"Why not? Why else would he do something like this?"
"But HOW did Felix steal them in the first place?"
"Because Ladybug thought he was me."
"But it was all over the news that you were going on that trip, it would have been odd for Ladybug to see you in Paris."
"I actually was in Paris, because it was Felix who was on the train. That's why he didn't get hit by Risk."
"And Ladybug gave him the Dog miraculous. If he touched Ladybug's yo-yo with the magic of Fetch, that would be how he stole the miraculous. Why was Felix on the train instead of you?"
"Because I didn't want to go on that trip. I didn't want to leave my friends and I cannot stand being around Lila. She keeps clinging to me and doesn't understand the meaning of no."
"What are you talking about? Lila said she doesn't have feelings for you."
"She's a liar Nino."
"Because of her disease."
"There's no disease, she's a genuinely terrible person. She came up with that disease because I said I would only model with her if she could get Marinette back into school after she framed her."
"Why didn't you tell your father you didn't want to go?"
"I tried to...but...He has a hold over me...I don't know how to explain it."
"Why didn't you tell me any of this? I thought we were bros Adrien. I thought you would be happy on the trip because you would be out of that house and away from your father."
"Are you kidding? My father made a detailed schedule so I would have no freedom. He can make my life miserable and lonely a thousand miles away."
"I thought we were friends Adrien. You can tell me anything. You especially should have said something about Lila. You didn't hurt just me, you hurt Marinette. At the lunch table we genuinely thought you wanted to go, and we said hurtful things that we would have never said if we knew the truth. I shouldn't have believed Lila over Marinette."
"I'm sorry Nino, I didn't want you to worry. You have enough to deal with being....you know."
"Hey, I can be both Carapace and your friend. It's a shame, you and me could've worked together as superheroes."
"I doubt it. Before Viperion appeared, Ladybug gave me the Snake miraculous...and I failed her many, many times."
"Wait, so that's why Ladybug was so happy. She wanted you to be a part of the team."
"And Felix ruined it. Ladybug will never give me a miraculous again."
"Never say never. And I promise I'll help you break free from your father and keep Lila away from you. Believe me, the way you're father treats you is not normal, and I don't mean not normal in a harmless way."
