As someone with C-PTSD and in the throes of being the eldest daughter (despite being biologically the youngest) for 2 decades now and counting... I have never felt so seen. My triggers resemble this in some big ways, I feel trapped and cornered and lash out irrationally just like Dick on bad days.
Everything he felt here, I have as well. And I just... I am glad someone understands. Thank you. Truly.
