Summary
Techno watched, safe from the flurrying snow on the front porch, as Phil tended to the outside animals. It was methodical work, done quickly but efficiently. Phil never stayed longer than he had to with the animals. He was constantly checking behind him, eyeing the porch to make sure that Techno was still there. A smile and a nod would be given before he was back to his work.
It had been months since Techno was able to take a step out of the porch. Even longer since he’d been able to take care of the animals. He was getting antsy, wanting nothing more than to get out, stretch his legs, and take Carl for a walk. Anything but stay cooped up, barely able to take a step out of Phil’s sight.
