Summary
The food is lavish; small, expensive dishes spread out throughout the evening so that everyone stays comfortably full for the whole event. The current entertainment is a pair of Lan cultivators, playing a powerful piece of music, a duet on guqin and dizi - composed by Lan Sizhui, Jin Ling tells him quietly as he nuzzles his jiujiu’s ear - to instill happiness and high spirits in the audience. A quartet of dancing girls in beautiful flowing clothing sway to the music in the middle of the hall. The wine is delicious and unending as always, and Jiang Cheng has had far, far too much of it.
There should be a chill in the air, it being winter and all, but between the wine, the plentiful blazing braziers spread throughout the room, and his powerful golden core, Jiang Cheng can’t feel it.
He can’t feel it at all, despite the fact that he isn’t wearing a lick of clothing.
Jiang Cheng cockwarms Jin Ling at his birthday banquet, and drinks quite a bit more wine than he should. Jin Ling's guests enjoy the entertainment, both friends and strangers alike.
