"Come on, Alec, this will be fun."
In Alec's experience, rarely did things go well or end well when Jace said that. Still. They were in a relationship and part of that was being supportive of each other's ideas. And it wasn't the worst idea – Jace would respect it if Alec was genuinely against it. Alec was just skeptical.
"A sex club, Jace," tried Alec one more time.
The smirk Jace offered in return was sly and unapologetic. Alec heaved a sigh and accepted his fate, wrapping one arm around Jace's waist to pull him close. Izzy had discovered this club and she'd been raving about it since then, naturally picking Jace's interest. Back in the day, Izzy and Jace used to go clubbing together all the time, before Jace and Alec got together. Alec had never been much of a fan of that. Clubbing, many people, being very public.
"If you're uncomfortable, we'll leave again right away, okay?"
Jace's voice was soft and his breath was warm as it tickled Alec's neck. A small smile spread over Alec's lips when he turned to look at Jace and steal a kiss from him. Alec loved Jace so much. And a part of him, the possessive part, did like the idea of showing his beautiful lover off.

Jace's eyes were warm, heavy with desire as his gaze wandered over the room. The dancing area and bar of the club was with a bare minimum of clothing, Jace knew that deeper into the club, behind the large red doors, they would reach the section where clothing was optional and where much more than kissing and making out was happening. But it was better to ease Alec in.
"Just, to remind you, we don't have to do anything. Not undress, not participate, not do anything with each other. We can just... enjoy a drink. Maybe dance. Okay?"
"Jace," Alec heaved a sigh though he looked at Jace with so much fondness. "I love you. I'm also a grown man who is capable of letting his boyfriend know when he's uncomfortable, mh? If I was completely against this idea, I would have told you no. Contrary to popular belief, I am actually capable of saying no to you. Don't look so surprised."
The teasing grin on Jace's face made Alec want to kiss him. Then again, Alec usually wanted to kiss Jace whenever he looked at his boyfriend. One of his arms wound around Jace's waist, more on instinct than with intention. The two may have been dating for over five years now, but a part of Alec – the small, closeted pre-teen terrified of everyone's reaction and suffering from his own internalized homophobia, who had thought that Jace was leagues out of reach (and also heterosexual) – would never stop marveling at the fact that Jace was his. He got to just hold Jace, kiss Jace, tell Jace that he loved the blonde.
"You've been here before, I'll let you take the lead," whispered Alec.
"Aw, come on. How did you know that? Izzy recommended us the place!"
"You didn't ask her for directions," offered Alec casually, smirking a little.
Jace huffed softly and ducked his head. "Yeah, I've been here before. With Meliorn."
Ah. With the guy who introduced Izzy to this place. Isabelle and Meliorn had been on and off for years and Alec knew that in the off times, Jace had occasionally hooked up with Meliorn. It had always been a running joke between them how much Jace and Izzy's dating pool overlapped.
"Tell me what you had in mind, babe."
Alec's thumb slipped beneath Jace's shirt so he could run gentle circles around his boyfriend's hipbone. Tracing the symbol that rested there. A silly little symbol they had made up as kids to symbolize their friendship. But when they got engaged, they got that very symbol tattooed on their hip-bones. Their version of engagement rings, since both didn't wear jewelry.
"I thought we'd get a drink at the bar first, look around some, then maybe dance... And see where it takes us. We could go in the back, just to look around, but we don't have to."
"Sounds like a plan," Alec pressed a kiss to the side of Jace's head.
The club itself was gorgeous. Whoever owned it definitely had taste. The bartender was friendly, their drinks came quick and for the most part, Alec felt just like during a regular night of allowing his sister and his fiance to drag him out to a club. Until someone caught his eyes.
It didn't take Jace long to notice. "What are you staring at, Alec?"
"Nothing, just..." Alec shrugged, but couldn't tear his eyes off. "He's gorgeous."
A man, sitting in the center of a round arrangement of couches, like a king among his court. Something about his sharp features, the dark, intense eyes, the well-groomed goatee, the smirk on his lips. Even his impeccable fashion-taste. Something about him was hypnotizing.
"Mh... You once again prove to have great taste in men, babe," whispered Jace amused. "And here I thought the threesome idea would be something you'd definitely object to."
All Alec could do was shrug. It wasn't that he actually proposed taking the guy back home with them, he was just noting how gorgeous the man was. But yes, Jace had expressed an interest in trying a threesome with Alec. It wasn't entirely unexpected; Jace had always been polyamorous, had in the past had multiple lovers at once, even in non-relationship situations he'd enjoyed casual threesomes. It was something Jace liked so it made sense he wanted to share that with Alec.
"I'm not saying yes just yet, I'm just saying he's... attractive."
"Yeah. Yeah, sure," Jace grinned and looked eager anyway. "Let's start by buying him a drink? Talk to him, mh? That's not a commitment. That's just checking if the interior matches the exterior."
That made Alec huff softly. Fair enough proposal. Waving the bartender over, Alec placed an order for the man; whatever he was currently drinking, again. When the drink reached the man, there was a curious look on his face. The waitress pointed Alec and Jace out as the ones who had paid for it and while Jace managed a flirty grin and wink, Alec waved shyly. The curiosity morphed into something akin to interest as the man tilted his head and nodded at them once. He lifted his drink at them, amusement written all over his face. What about this was amusing, Alec wondered.
The man made no attempts to get up and talk to them though and since he was sitting with a whole flock of people, Jace and Alec didn't want to go and bother him. If he were interested, he could come to them. Since he didn't, Alec and Jace simply finished their drinks and then went to dance.

Jace hadn't known what to expect when taking Alec to the sex club. The first time around, they just drank and danced a little. The guy who caught Alec's eyes sure was good looking, but he didn't seem interested that night.
The second night they went, there was much more dancing than drinking, Alec seemed more relaxed. There was a lot of grinding and kissing. And when they returned to the bar, two drinks were waiting for them – from the gorgeous man. However, he had apparently already left by the time the two were done dancing.
"So, I guess he may be interested in us too?" guessed Alec with slightly flushed cheeks.
That was cute. The thing was, Alec had always been in love with Jace. By now, Jace knew that. As teens? Not so much. Jace had always slept around, only had a handful of relationships and they never lasted longer than a few weeks, months top. He liked taking multiple people to bed, at one point, he'd had two boyfriends – Meliorn and Raphael, since that was a phase where Isabelle was dating neither of them; she'd been with Aline back then. And somehow, Jace had ended up dating both of them. It wasn't that Alec wasn't enough, Jace loved Alec with his whole heart.
But he knew that Alec had never really gathered experiences and played around before the two of them got together. Yes, Alec had had one boyfriend during their teens, Andrew, but there was still a lot that he had never done before. Jace wanted Alec to have these experiences and he thought it'd be great if the two of them could share them. If the two could enjoy these things together. Jace definitely wanted to get it out before their wedding, test their boundaries.
"Maybe we'll see him next time," whispered Jace as he nosed Alec's cheek.
Because this was something for Alec, but also for Jace. And Jace had to admit that the guy Alec picked was very nice to look at. Maybe, if they ran into him again, they could have some fun.

As owner of the Pandemonium, Magnus regularly had people flirt him up, try to pick him up. Most of the time, he declined. And then there was that gorgeous pair. They offered him a drink, which he accepted, because he always found it amusing when someone else paid for a drink for him in his own establishment. The next time they were over, the two put up such an intriguing show, the way their bodies moved against each other on the dance floor, how tall, dark and handsome would hold his blonde so possessively. Consider Magnus intrigued. So he bought them each a drink, but sadly he had to leave for work before the two returned from the dance floor.
Apparently, the couple returned a few times when Magnus wasn't in his club. The next time he got to see them though was a real treat. About two months or so after they first bought him a drink, he saw them in the backroom. He had already admired the smooth, elegant and natural way in which their bodies moved together on the dance-floor, but naked, enthralled by carnal pleasure? Magnus had been transfixed as he watched them, watched the arch of pretty blonde's back, the way tall, dark, handsome's hands ran so possessively over his lover's body... Mh.
It was very evident in the way tall, dark, handsome moved, touched and kissed that he was very possessive of his lover. That he did this less because he enjoyed exposing himself, but rather because he loved showing off his gorgeous lover. Letting others know how beautiful and responsive the blonde was, letting others know that pretty blonde was his. Magnus had to admit, that appealed to him in a peculiar way. He'd always been possessive himself and he did admire the way tall, dark, handsome worshiped his lover's body, that was the kind of attention Magnus liked to find himself under too. They certainly were interesting. And nice to look at.
However, he didn't have a chance to actually speak with them that night either. Only the next time, when he spotted blondie all alone at the club.
"Hello, gorgeous. So we do get an opportunity to talk, finally."
Magnus smiled charmingly as he sat down next to pretty blonde. When the blonde turned to look at him with a lazy, pleased smirk, Magnus paused. Those eyes, they were mesmerizing. Two colors, a speck of golden-brown in the blue iris, like the sun rising into the sky.
"And here I thought we lost your interest. Glad to see I'm wrong."
"Where's your taller, darker half?" asked Magnus as he looked around.
"Running late. Work," replied the blonde shortly, his eyes roaming over Magnus' body. "Don't worry, he'll be here. If I text him that you're actually talking to me, he might even be faster."
"I'll do you one better," offered Magnus with a foreboding smile. "Send him a picture, mh?"
That made pretty blonde laugh and got his phone out. Both turned to face the camera, with Magnus resting his head on blondie's shoulder, nose gently gracing the other's neck. After taking the picture and pocketing his phone, blondie turned toward him to face Magnus fully.
"I'm Jace. And you caught my husband's eye."
"Husband?" echoed Magnus surprised, his eyes finding Jace's hands to see a wedding band.
"Got married last month," Jace smiled so softly, filled with so much love as he looked at the ring too. "We started coming here a month before our wedding, to try some things out before marriage."
"Interesting," Magnus picked his drink up and took a slow sip. "And in what capacity did I catch your husband's eye? From what I've seen in the backroom, he doesn't seem to be the sharing type."
"Tru—ue," Jace offered him a crooked grin. "But I think it's something else if we all share. And like I said, you caught his eye. He picked you. Not that I am opposing. You're... mh..."
The blonde licked his lips in hunger, his eyes darkening. Cute. Magnus smirked and lifted his glass, Jace was quick to follow. They drank and talked about pretty much nothing, really. Small-talk. Passing the time until blondie's husband returned. Magnus had to say, he liked Jace, he was easy to talk to, his humor was amusing and he definitely was an eye-candy.
"Hey, love," tall, dark and handsome approached Jace from behind and slung his arms around Jace's waist, kissing his neck gently. "I see you had good company while I was working, mh?"
"I did," Jace grinned and leaned back, relaxing in his lover's embrace. "Alec, that's... uhm..."
"Magnus," Magnus smiled amused as he offered his hand. "I'm Magnus Bane."
"...As in, Magnus Bane, the owner of this club?" asked Jace surprised.
"The one and only," Magnus smirked, shaking hands with Alec and then Jace. "And I'll tell you, it's rare for me to pick someone up at my own club. But you two... are eye-catching."
Alec flushed, which looked very good on him. "I... uh... You too. I mean... You're..."
"Good looking," offered Jace, eyebrows raised. "You're good looking, Magnus Bane."
"How about a round of drinks, mh?" suggested Magnus. "Sit down with us, catch up."
Alec actually relaxed a little as he accepted a drink and exchanged a smile with Magnus.

It was supposed to just be a casual affair. A one time thing to try something new. And then it happened again a week later. And again two days later. And another couple days later, where they cornered Magnus in his club because they had gone too long without him.
"Where's Alexander?" asked Magnus softly, a smile curving his lips.
"Aw. Don't tell me you can't take me on your own," Jace's voice was a husky whisper as he ascended on Magnus' lap, his knees on either side of it. "Alec's actually away for the weekend. Family visit. His little brother's having something and, well, their parents aren't a fan of the husband coming along too. It's okay. Maxie is gonna come over for the summer and we'll celebrate then, because Alec's brother actually absolutely adores me."
Magnus' hand wandered over Jace's back. "Of course he does, how could he not?"
"Right?" Jace laughed softly, his nose brushing against Magnus' neck.
"So you were lonely with Alexander gone and figured visiting me, mh?"
"Well, I do like your attention," admitted Jace. "And I do hate how big and cold the bed is."
"Mh, poor angel," Magnus whispered, his fingers dancing over Jace's ribs. "How about you come and stay in my bed then? It's big and warm and I know you like my detergent."
"I do like your detergent," confirmed Jace pleased, resting his chin on Magnus' shoulder.
Magnus laughed, a happy and gentle sound. Oh no. He was very, very smitten. He should know better than to be smitten with a married couple, with someone where it was supposed to be only carnal. They were guests of his club, a fun romp in the sheets. Not fondness and warmth.
/break\
Knocking on Magnus' office door disturbed him. "No, I do not have time for anyone."
"Really not?" asked Alec as he stuck his head into the office. "I bring you lunch."
When Magnus looked up, he was overwhelmed by the smile on Alec's lips. "What?"
"Jace is on tour," Alec shrugged mildly. "He texted me and said I tend to forget to eat when he's not home and he suggested to... keep a good schedule, I should eat with you. You... had lunch yet?"
"Ah. That was the text I got from Jace," Magnus pushed off his desk to get up and walk over. "He said something about being in my office at one. I dismissed it because I am here."
"He thinks we're both workaholics," Alec grinned and leaned in to kiss Magnus. "Hello."
"Hello, darling," Magnus cupped Alec's cheek in a gentle gesture.
For a while, the two of them just ate in silence, though Alec's eyes kept drifting over to Magnus, to take in his face, his everything. The man was so gorgeous and Alec loved being close to him. Alec loved him. And that was not what they had set out, it wasn't what he had set out. Magnus just seemed like a nice compromise, to try something Jace liked. But then it turned out Alec liked it too and now it turned out Alec liked Magnus. The thing was that Jace liked Magnus too.
"Jace is gonna be gone for another two weeks," Alec sighed, heavy and sad – because his husband wasn't here and he was always more pouty when Jace was gone. "But when he gets back, we were thinking about going to our cabin – we have a cabin in the mountains."
"Ah. That sounds nice," Magnus offered a thin-lipped smile. "I hope you have fun then."
"What. No," Alec frowned annoyed. "I'm not good with these things, that's why Jace does the talking. We want you to come with us. You work too much and we thought you could use the break too. If you want to. Just... a long weekend. Friday to Sunday. If you want."
Alec was aware that he was blushing, but these things were hard. Averting his eyes, he ran his fingers through his hair to keep busy. Until Magnus took his hand, that is. The look on Magnus' face was so warm and soft as he interlaced their fingers and nodded.
"I'd... like that, very much, Alexander. Tell me the date and I'll make a note, mh?"
Filled with relief, Alec took a deep breath and smiled brightly at Magnus.
/break\
Jace stretched long until his back cracked and he could sigh in relief. Alec behind him grunted and wrapped his arms more tightly around Jace's midsection even in his sleep. Always clingy, particularly when Jace threatened to get up and leave the bed. Relaxing back down, Jace rested his arm on Magnus' chest and put his chin on top of it so he could look at the sleeping club owner until eyelids fluttered open and warm, dark eyes stared at him curiously. Fingers found their way into Jace's hair, carding through it in a gentle gesture, accompanied by a smile from Magnus.
"He—ey," Jace smiled in a lazy manner and scooted closer to kiss Magnus. "Morning, gorgeous."
"Good morning, angel. Your cabin is very nice. And the break was a good idea. But..."
"Can't we just skip the 'but'?" requested Jace tired. "You know, you like us, we like you, we've been together for months now. This is more than it was supposed to be, but it is... good, right?"
"Right," confirmed Magnus, his smile faint but warm. "It's very good."
