I refer to you as mine, though I mean a blend of our two cultures’ understandings of the concept. Friendship is… different, on Vulcan.”
“Different how?”
Spock swallows visibly. “It is more… intimate,” he says carefully, quietly. “It typically involves many years of knowing one another. And—a bond.”
