Work Text:

Adrien opened his bedroom door, and stared.

Splayed on his bed was a man in nothing but an unzipped jacket and a pair of too-tight jeans. He was propped onto his side, his jacket spilling open to reveal a bare chest. Brown hair trailed from his chest to disappear under the obscenely low waistline of his jeans, which did nothing to disguise his rather thick thighs.

It was nothing Adrien hadn’t seen in his modelling career, but still.

What.

“Hello, Adrien.” The man said in a low voice that might’ve sounded seductive if Adrien’s girlfriend wasn’t in the kitchen next room over. “Can I say I’m your biggest fan?” He flashed Adrien a painfully wide smile. “There is no one better than modelling than you, and your contributions to the city is unparalleled by even Ladybug and Chat Noir! So, allow me to express my gratitude—”

It was about that point that Adrien determined the man was not a threat and tuned out his lackluster speech.

…so much for having a calm and uneventful dinner with Marinette.

He tried not to think about the reminder of Adrien Agreste’s role in gathering evidence to throw Hawkmoth in jail.

Adrien felt Plagg squirm in his pocket, doubtlessly furious at this intruder trying to…what, seduce Adrien? At any rate, it wasn’t like he could transform with an entire person in front of him, so Adrien could only do the next best thing.

He cleared his throat, and yelled, “Ladybug!”

The man’s eyes widened as the blood leached from his face. Clearly, he thought Adrien was home alone. Adrien had to admit—it was a bit hilarious.

With his enhanced hearing, he could barely make out Marinette’s whisper of “spots on!” Soon enough, Ladybug—in all her ferocious, spotted fury—marched through the doorway to Adrien’s bedroom.

She stared at the half-naked man on Adrien’s bed. The man stared back, his features twisting in terror as if he could see his life flash before his eyes.

Ladybug growled lowly as she concluded the man had evidently broken into Adrien’s room to seduce him. “Lucky charm,” she hissed softly, but not soft enough for the other occupants of the room not to hear her.

The man scrambled backwards, until his back hit the headboard of Adrien’s bed. “Wait, no, I’m so sorry, Ladybug, I didn’t know—”

Red sparkles spiraled from the yo-yo attached to Ladybug’s waist, until a red-spotted broomstick manifested in Ladybug’s hand.

“Out!” Ladybug yelled, cutting off the man’s pleading. She wacked the bristled end of her broomstick into the man’s side, earning a high-pitched yelp. “Get out!”

Adrien watched in amazement as Ladybug chased the man to the open window with her newly acquired broom, where he very eagerly began to climb the tree right outside Adrien’s bedroom, desperate to escape Ladybug’s wrath. So that was how he had broken in; Adrien would have to make sure to lock his windows next time. He could feel Plagg writh in his pocket with laughter.

Did Adrien ever mention he loved his girlfriend?
