    Ten years ago, magic users rebelled against the Pendragon throne, slaughtering all but a few who managed to escape, among them rumored to be Prince Arthur. Arthur was never found and is said to be lost to time.
    King Uther, after reclaiming the throne, has offered a large monetary reward for whoever can find and return his son and only remaining heir to him, and sorcerer Merlin and his best friend Gwaine have decided to find a lookalike in order to fool the King and take the reward for themselves.

    In short, an Anastasia (1997) AU with a Merlin/Arthur love story. Hijinks ensue.
