“Your welcome. Good luck on your test.”
That’s the fifth autograph Kai’sa gave today. It’s already three in the afternoon but she still have time before Kali’s concert.
Kai’sa haven’t been to Paris in a while so she decided to spend the time with a walk by the Seine then to Jean’s café. The last time she was there, Akali insisted joining her when Kai’sa was invited to perform at ballet exhibition for her old school. Her memories of the neighborhood was filled with Akali’s laughther.
Lost in her thoughts, She snaps back when she saw the Pont des Arts, wondering if her love lock with Akali is still there. She kept the key as a necklace. Kai’sa was rummaging around the locks when a flower girl approaches her.
“Excuse me Miss, are you trying to remove your lock ?”
“Hmm.. oh, no. I’m just looking to see if it’s still here.”
“I hope you find it. Hey wait, you’re Kai’sa”
“(smiles and headpats the girl) Yes, I am.”
“Can i get your autograph ? Miss Akali and Evelynn gave me one earlier.”
*Akali... and Evelynn. Usually, it’s Ahri with Evelynn. And we’re the newcomers. That’s why Kali and I got along very well. We got along with them too, but Kali and Eve being personal makes me a bit...*
“Sure. Wouldn’t want to make you miss a complete set.”
“Thanks miss Kai’sa. Oh, it’s getting cloudy. Do you have an umbrella ?”
“No, I’m going to a café near here anyway, I guess I could run for it if rain comes.”
“Well, be careful Miss.(waves at Kai’sa as the girl moves to another couple)”
As she walks to Jean’s Café, Kai’sa couldn’t let her mind off from that conversation. She started to think that Akali used her for practicing before approaching Eve. Or Eve was the one who started to make moves on Akali.
She was so into it that she didn’t notice the rain started to pour slowly. And her nightmares came true.
In contrast to the elements outside the café, the table by the window was filled with warmth and laughter from Akali and Eve both feeding each other, unaware of their drenched friend watching over them.
Kai’sa walks away from the café, back to the bridge, trying to find the girl. She found her taking shelter under the tree.
“Oh you’re back, Miss. Are you okay drenched in the rain ?”
Without speaking, Kai’sa gave the girl her backstage pass for True Damage’s concert. She smiles, full knowing that the rain conceals her tears.
“Oh, for me ? Thank you miss. Thank you very much.”
The girl waves more rapidly and in full happiness then before when Kai’sa leaves, waving back at the girl.
She notices her love lock with Akali and unlocks it. Leaving it on the ground, she walks away from it, enduring the pain in her heart.
