A series of unrelated works revolving around scenarios in which various Arcane characters dance. Since all these stories have to do with dancing, I figured I'd group them all into a series together.

    Summary

When you are powerless / To sand-bag this Atlantic bulwark, faced / By the earth-shaker, green, unwearied, chaste / In his steel scales: ask for no Orphean lute / To pluck life back.

After the end of everything, Hark returns to his old, familiar job at Sanctuary. Life, however, does not return to normal.

It begins with small things—things far too small to notice. Open windows that ought to be closed, doors that slam themselves shut, objects in the wrong places. Coincidences.

    It becomes something far worse.

    Bookmarker's Notes

Can you believe that I literally wrote a whole fan sequel (is that the right word?) for this fic and never bookmarked it until now? Amending this issue at once!

    Summary

It was on our way into town this morning that we found it; Dad saw it first. He nearly swerved us straight off the road in his shock, waking Mom up from her nap with his hollering on about "a perfectly fine pheasant, hardly hurt at all" and "I ain't ever seen one so big before". We get pheasants around here, and I've shot a couple good ones in my time, but I'd never seen one so big before neither, and as Dad pulled over to run out and stumble down in the ditch I swear I saw it move.
