Summary
Having wandered from woodland to swampland during their travels through The Unknown, Wirt and his school-friend Runa find a lighthouse at the edge of a bayou. The lighthouse is constructed out of wood, but that’s not the only thing about it that’s… odd, and the two friends soon find themselves working to unravel a mystery inspired by the writings of Edgar Allan Poe. What starts off as a game of wits becomes a journey of nostalgia, poetry, dream symbols, music, sound, and memory. At the heart of it all awaits a presence within the lighthouse’s beacon, which seems to exert a strange pull on Wirt’s mind… and the mysteriously blank pages of a manuscript, which Poe himself never got to finish.

However, when Wirt finds himself compelled to follow a figure into the trees at the peak of the night, Greg is left alone while Wirt struggles with the changes he finds in himself.

Summary
There's a curse that says when you are so deeply entrenched in your sadness and fears, and you don't know how to get out of the situation. You become someone invisible to the human eye. An invisible person that you don't want anyone to see. This curse is so common in the woods of the Unknown. Thanks to that curse, the beast can become people in trees more easily and efficiently.
However, it does not help much when your hunter at your service enters a panic and can't do their work because of an invisible curse.
